First time visit to Ace Bakes WOW absolutely lovely little gem of a place. Think we’ve just found another one of our favourite places to go for a coffee and cake. Lovely tea house. Nicely decorated, nice and clean and lovely friendly staff.
We had two cheese and ham toasties that were made from uncut loaf, millionaire muffin and chocolate orange cheese cake. Also had the hot chocolate. All of which was well worth the price as tasted great.

Can't beat it for a coffee and cake. All cakes made on the premises. Really good value as well. Do filled rolls, pasties and sausage rolls as well. Also do a lovely cream tea.

As a group of 5 adults we found this lovely little place and had been using it for weeks and found our new coffee shop went in a 2 weeks ago ordered coffees and cakes all round cakes showing on counter after 15 min wait staff member came over telling me my cake wasn't available I said all cakes were in counter at time of ordering the man serving me checked before I paid she said sorry so ordered something else as she brought the cake over she told me I needed to pay the difference that was fine was going to order other thing to take home when I went over to pay the 75 pence difference told paying machine had stopped working and needed to track to a bank and back again for a payment of 75 pence . With the staff member that served me snap at me it's not our fault . I'm not happy with they was I was spoken to in front of other customers and staff and won't be returning. if staff feel it OK to spoke to customers like that u will be losing more that 5 of us

We took my mum here for an afternoon tea for her 80th birthday. The food was amazing very fresh and tasty. Service is excellent. A lovely atmosphere. Can highly recommend.

We had the most amazing cream tea this afternoon. A yummy clotted cream scone with a pot of tea, even the dogs were spoilt with treats and a fresh bowl of water. Thank you

Fabulous teahouse; good range of sandwiches, amazing sausage rolls and cakes that would grace the finest French patisseries. Several parking slots right outside the teahouse. Inside or al fresco seating.

Got to say we had a lovely afternoon tea at Ace Bakes. The food was very fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Some of the food on offer behind the counter made me drool. Thoroughly recommend this lovely bakery tea stop with its wheelchair friendly access.
