Being huge fans of 'destination' bookshops we drove up from Cardiff last week. Had a really enjoyable day, it's a great bookshop in a beautiful location. Amazing selection of art & architecture books, a fantastic cafe beautifully surrounded by the cookery book section and one of the most imaginative children's areas I've seen. Add to that a glimpse of the adorable bookshop dog and a fruit and almond cake to die for and we were very happy customers! Found the books to be well priced and came away with an interesting selection.

A hidden gem! Lovely 2nd hand and new books. Especially like the old penguin titles. Be prepared to spend hours mooching around. Great cafe, lovely friendly service, especially by Daisy. Thank you, you made our day

Excellent book shop with wide range nicely sorted. Enjoyed my visit, but I was looking for cookery books and they were all in the café area. It was lunchtime so I couldn't browse.

Could spend a whole day here. Amazing selection of books to cater for every taste. Including some out of print.
Best coffee in Shropshire and reasonably priced too.

Spectacular! What an unexpected find, in a former farm building out in the middle of nowhere! 50,000 second-hand books on every subject matter, armchairs and tables to sit down & read at, and an excellent cafe serving soups, snacks and calorie-loaded chocolate cake. If you are passing anywhere within 20 miles, you should take a detour. You'll love it.

Very lovely second hand bookshop and great cafe! The staff are kind and friendly, and although the prices are sometimes a little high for second hand books the stock is great and food is delicious.

I would highly recommend that you make this quaint stop a destination on your journey!

Wow stopped on way to holiday as son wanted toilet and we needed a drink and didnt realise what it was! Ended up staying 2 hours . Amazing and wonderful . Any book you can think of and dedicated children's area with games to play too. We had Lovely soup and cakes in the cafe. So glad we stopped, got some great books too!
