Baxter's News from the outside looks like any other corner shop or Newsagents, however inside it is packed to the ceiling with American candy, American drinks, American chips (crisps) and American snacks. If there is an American confectionary or treat you are after, you'll more than likely find it here. Even if it is limited edition in the United States of America!

With a critical eye, the store has a very cramped feeling, as they really have utilised every potential inch of sales space for stock. You may take ages trying to choose what you want as the selection here is truly vast. But if you want to feel like being in the United States of America, or miss something from the States, this is one of the very best locations to visit.

Very friendly staff. Great to see more and more American sweets and pop available here, or should I say ''candy and soda' 🙂 Nice to try out new stuff and also things I know from my holidays in the US which are hard to find here. All at sensible prices.. Many thanks.

Normally I like this shop it’s alway fun to have a look around to try new things but lately it’s not bran so good there is a funny smell in the shop, it is off putting and it’s bean there for a while naw , I when in there today 13/12/2023 to get some drinks for work I hadn’t noticed when I got the drinks that the can was dirty and that hade not been the 1st time I hade gotten a dirty can , could the shop keep check the cans before putting them on the shelves and clean them.

They have a great collection of British and American food and drink. The Shopkeeper is nice. You should definitely check out this store if you're in Dartford.
