I had an amazing experience at Sheppy's Cider! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Jane, who instantly made us feel at home. The tour led by Mike was absolutely fantastic — his knowledge and passion for cider-making truly shone through. The tour itself was insightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the cider-making process. The entire team was friendly and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Unfortunately we did not get to eat here this time but we bought a few bits from their shop - the honey & mustard scotch egg was delicious! We will be back to check out the museum & eat at the cafe/bar.

Highly recommend visiting Sheppy's! We'll definitely be back!

Arrived here from Bristol purely for an arranged tour. From the point of arrival, the staff were friendly & welcoming and very attentive. The tour was led by a lovely guide called Mike who is a real credit and certainly the real deal in entertainment & information regarding the history of the site & extensive knowledge about cider making. We sadly didn't have time to enjoy the restaurant but left buzzing after the tour, having sampled several different ciders, looking around the museum and buying a variety of ciders to enjoy at home. Great job Sheppys, and what a pleasure to enjoy the tour with Mike leading the pack!! Full marks...... lovely to see cider making as it should be, traditional, authentic, and as good as it gets!! Staff were on point, thanks all.... we'll be back.

Could be so much better.

Poorly organised no welcome area for the tour. Not enough staff in the shop for a Saturday afternoon. Tour guide was nice and friendly but didn't know the answers to some pretty basic sheppys questions. More interested in chatting about local pubs and breweries.

Video room wasn't set up and tv video not working an audience member had to assist. Video from the 90s. Tasting was shambolic, dirty room with warm cider served. Very disappointing.
trying to buy products after the tour was impossible with only two staff trying to do everything. We Ended up walking out, frustrated.

What a shame, its a lovely setting. Wouldn't recommend the tour at £17 each it fekt like a waste of money. Just go to the shop yourself and wander around the orchards for free.

A new "head of tours and retail" could really help you maximise this golden opportunity.

We had a fantastic day at Sheppy's Cider Farm! We cycled through Taunton and Bradford-on-Tone and decided to stop for lunch. The ciders were delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. A must-visit spot in the area. I highly recommend trying the flight of ciders and the classic ploughman's.

Was a really cool place to go for a day trip and so relaxing to walk around the duck ponds and orchards. Was plenty of parking space. The dining room and menu looked amazingly cosy and appetizing sadly we didn't have the time to eat but did enjoy the cider tasting even though I don't particularly like this cider but all in all a really good day out would be nice to take the kids next time.
If your ever in the area I highly recommend you take the time to visit

Lots of selection and allowed to taste before I bought. Don't know if that was a one off. But lovely place for eating too. Bits of history there. Lots to look at in the deli part. Lots of local produce including Cheeses, local pastries etc. Plus a little museum which we didn't have time to visit.

We had a nice brunch here with friends recently as it was a midway point between us. The setting is nice and the venue is completely level access for wheelchair users, offering ample parking for such a small place. The flagstone floorings make it easy to get around and there is plenty of room in the restaurant for wheelchair users to get around easily enough. Our food was nice enough but too a long time to be served, missing one of our parties off when we were the only people there so early. They did apologise and compensate. Staff were friendly but it seemed a bit odd that our food took so long!
