Disgusted to say the least, now I used to frequently buy there pies as they used to be deep filled, now I went to Weston’s farm shop on the weekend and saw they sold these pies and had to get some I got chicken and ham! But there was no ham in there!, and steak and mature cheddar now £7.50 for a pie and I opened the steak pie up and only had 4 bits of steak I was shocked and fuming I payed all that money for what most of it to be pastry and now meat never going back there or getting there pies again!! disappointed as these used to be my favourite

Bought two large steak & kidney pies from our local butcher. Huge chunks of kidney & minimal steak. Very chewy & dry. My family of five adults were really disappointed. This is the first time we’ve bought The real pie company pie’s costing £15.80. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat most of the pies!!! I took photos & sent it off to customer service. The clearly weren’t that concerned about our dissatisfaction!!!!

Brought a steak and kidney and chicken and mushroom
I should say kidney and steak if you could find the steak, the kidney was in majority of the pie, great big chunks that were still attached by the veins and smelt awful.
Loads of chicken but chunks too big and dry
I used to love these pies however after paying 8.99 each I won’t be buying them again
Not sure if this company has changed hands from a few years ago but they are definitely not the same, such a shame

I bought 2 pies today and gave my husband half of the steak and kidney, which usually he loves. He is not a fussy eater but the meat in this pie was large and chewy and to be honest he found it unpleasant. I will need to dispose of the rest as he will not try them.

Absolutely delicious pies! Last night, we enjoyed a Chicken and Ham Pie and it was sooo scrumptious! I can't wait to dig into another one!
Was definitely the best pie I have ever eaten!
Staff were so friendly at the shop! Will definitely be popping back again soon.

We used to buy the pies from their ship in Cowfold, then they moved. When they came back in stream in their new factory I ordered 16 pies. Of which there was an error. They said that the Web sales team would call me back. Despite numerous phone messages left and numerous e-mails; still no response. I guess my business isn’t good enough for them. Sad, but we’ll just source our pies elsewhere. Customer Service is non existent from my experience.

Update: At last a call back from The Real Pie Company, it would appear that the phone messaging hasn't been working, as they can't retrieve them. The lines aren't put through as they should be, Very apologetic and resolved the issue the next day. They also have a problem with the e-mail which I hope they also resolve soon. Their Pies are really nice and the Apple Crumble is divine. But in my opinion customer service is as important as the product. Hopefully by the time I re-order pies, everything will be sorted.

I am a true pie connoisseur, honestly, pies are the goto choice for me when at home or out. And the pies from this place are top of my list. They are, as they say, 'crammed to the crust' with deliciousness. I am going to work my way through the whole range! Friendly service in the shop too. A great addition to our village!

Have had a few pies which were nice until one which my poor grandad had, steak and kidney pie which had a HUGE lump of kidney in the pie which had a foul smell he was so distraught at the age of 76 and wouldn’t eat the dinner after! I emailed customer service with photos just to be told they had some issues in jan with their supplies, no offer for compensation or a discount code for a future purchase… poor customer service and we will not be purchasing again as they are not cheap and the quality of service is not there! Very disappointed in how complaints are handled and I hope it’s something you take on board with future complaints and your customer service improves to keep business.
