Can't comment on the rooms as we went for a late lunch 2.30pm in the Orangery Restaurant. The mains on the menu were half price, so I wasn't expecting it to be as delicious as it was. The service was excellent lovely waiting staff we ordered cocktails they were very well made and very good, our main courses were served by a really nice waiter very polite and very pleasant. All three main courses were delicious and we will certainly return as this offer is on right through till January 2025., I had the belly pork and it was one of the best I've had the accompanying vegetables asparagus, green beans, mangetout and tendersteam broccoli with buttery mash potato were excellent. The onion rings were from the steak meal as our friend didn't want them lol.

Spent 2 nights in a suite room over the weekend. The hotel is very tastefully decorated - the lobby & restaurant/bar area were stunning.
Employees are dressed really smart especially on the front desk.
Very friendly and welcoming.
Located in a peaceful location.
The best value for money hotel I have stayed in.
Can't wait to return 🙂

From the moment we walked in the door we was greated with a warm welcome and very friendly staff, after a swift check-in we was asked if we needed help with our luggage to the room.
Room was amazing very spacious and everything we needed was in there.
The bar has a very good selection of drinks and there was a nice court yard and a outside area to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, again the staff were very helpful and friendly, and same again in the morning breakfast was excellent and more friendly happy staff ?.
Hotel is super clean and tidy and smells great ?.
Already at looking to book again next year , thank you keep up the good work.

Amazing place. I had the Minnie suite for a week, and I must say it was fantastic. The meals in the restaurant are good but how they are prepared fluctuates. Items are missing, and the quantity varies from day to day.

Great to see a hotel and restaurant like this in our region!!!
Beautiful venue, lots of staff (who are all warm and attentive) and a great menu.

Good to see the restaurant busy on a Tuesday night in Autumn.

Look forward to next trip.

Nice hotel room. Problems started when we went for dinner. My food was lovely, however my partner chose the sirloin steak, he ordered it medium but when it arrived it was clearly rare. He did try a bit but it was chewy so we asked for it to be cooked for longer. It came back out a minute later still under cooked. Had an argument with the waiter but eventually got a different meal. If you're going to charge those sorts of prices the quality has to be there. Came down for breakfast and found there was no sausage, bacon, hashbrown or eggs. Very poor show. We waited and in the end I just had 1 sausage a mushroom and some back pudding. Decided to have some natural yogurt and fruit only to find the yogurt had gone off. Sorry to say we will not be coming back

We stayed at Wildes Derbyshire last weekend whilst attending a wedding. The room was clean and spacious, the staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. I would highly recommend.

Disappointing evening dining experience for 4 people. Orders brought to table & 1 incorrect, had to wait 20mins for correct one to arrive by which time others had almost finished. 1 missing fries, only to be told they had been left in kitchen & another order not very warm. Don’t see how it can be messed up when they use electronic iPads to take orders?

After complaining to Manager the bill discounted as a result, but shall not be coming back.
