I’ve just finished a 20 minute massage with Emily. Her consultation was thorough & showed an understanding of the issues I was having.
She was respectful when consulting afterwards as we were in the reception area with other members of staff behind her. Although it was only a discussion about tension, she valued my privacy and kept the conversation quiet.

Despite going there initially due to lots of lower back pain I left feeling lighter in my upper back and encouraged to have another massage. I only wish it could’ve been for longer!

I received an email asking to leave an honest review so this is mine.

I came here for the first time with my mum today for a joint birthday treat. The waiting room & massage rooms were very pretty, tidy, clean & relaxing. Staff did great at keeping it a surprise for my mum which I really appreciated & she really enjoyed her massage. She thanks Olivia for helping her to relax as it was much needed. I also found my massage by Lauren very relaxing and comfortable. Lauren was lovely, easy to talk to and very apologetic when l made her aware that we’d been given the wrong massages. I booked for us both to have the ‘hot stone’ back, neck & shoulder massages via fb messenger and I was really disappointed that we weren’t given what I booked.

When I spoke to Olivia on the desk about us being given something different, I showed her the email confirmation they sent me prior to the appointment to prove we booked the hot stone massages & she told me it’s been booked on the system as a normal massage so this didn’t really make sense. After my massage, Lauren told me she would meet me downstairs at the desk after I got dressed etc, but once I let her know about the mishap, I didn’t see her again and I would have liked the opportunity to simply thank her for the massage I did have and to have at least been able to respectfully say bye.

Either way, we both still enjoyed our massages & still want to come back for the hot stone massage. It might not matter but I would also like to let you know, I signed into my account on your website to look at dates for booking the hot stone massage back in, and I noticed the staff member who created my account had also for some reason put my d.o.b as 1970 instead of 1998 so I have changed it to the correct one.

I only hope the mistake made today doesn’t happen again as it was a real shame when I’d been looking forward to the hot stones specifically. The massages we did have were great & if I’m not let down the next time we come, we would both like to make it a regular thing. I would also recommend the therapists to confirm the treatment/massage before it’s started so the mistake we had doesn’t happen for anyone else. Thank you.

Went for a treat, ready for my friends wedding, never had a massage before, I struggle with all my body mobility wise, and wanted to see how I was afterwards, this was so relaxing and refreshing, peaceful and was nice to be still for an hour, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, amazing girls that took care of us, Emily and Lauren thank you so much for your time.

I've been visiting this amazing salon for maybe 3 years now. Sometimes for maintenance treatments (eyebrows, nails etc) and sometimes for aesthetics treatments. I feel I'm in a position to leave an honest review. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, a very calming and beautifully maintained place. The treatments are wide ranging and extremely competitively priced. I always feel unhurried and welcome and this is 100% down to the staff. They really are genuinely lovely ladies, very professional but also very 'real'. I can't recommend Skin and Spirit highly enough.

I wanted to share my experience to give a genuine review on the treatment I had as I feel like if I had spoken to someone with a simular experience I wouldn't of done it. I booked fat dissolving injections for my tummy area only (1 area) I was advised to have 3 areas so I did. The bruising was horrific I expecting bruising but not as bad I had. The results I found after my first session was I was much more flabby around my hips which was upsetting because my hips never bothered me. I was told I should of known that would happen. I went for a second session not as much bruising but I still have numbness in areas of my stomach and is still painful to touch 4 weeks on. All in all I'm left more unhappy with a flabby tummy and hips and been advised to spend another couple of hundred pounds with them to tighten it up. I thought fat dissolving would dissolve and flush away , it seems like it's broken up stubborn fat but nothing else. Ive been going to skin and spirit for years and been happy with treatments and therapist but this nurse led treatment has left me very unhappy with my purse much lighter.

To add from the response I wasn't given all that info until after the treatment , i was just told i would see a significant difference after 2 sessions and side effects which yes I did expect bruising and tenderness

Visited today for the first time. The clinic is gorgeous and smells amazing. The team are really welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease. Beverleys knowledge is incredible and I knew I was in experienced hands. I will definitely be visiting again and cannot wait to see the results of my treatment.
