Called in for the first time as I was only passing through but in need of some plasters for an annoying cut which wouldn't stop bleeding.
With no idea of the layout of the store or where I might find something what I was looking for my confusion must have been evident because no sooner had I stepped fives paces into the shop then I was greeted by a lovely, young, smiling lady who asked if she could help me. I believe her name badge identified her as Lucy Jade but I may be wrong. However on hearing what I was looking for she not only pointed in the right direction but she preceded her head herself and found what I was looking for on the bottom shelf of one of the displays where I don't think I would have come across it in a month of Sundays.
Outstanding, attentive service and well deserving of the FIVE STAR rating. Full credit to the management for their obvious attention to recruiting the right calibre of staff and training them to this impeccable standard.
The young lady was not keen on her face being shown so I have blotted the picture but I hope that management can identify her and reward her accordingly.

The store is ok the staff are friendly however there is a serious issues as there costumers are endangering the public in a serious chance of being hit by there cars and are very abusive , the coop appered to be very cavalier about it as they also allow costumers to park in the keep clear zone as i have actually been hit by the cars ans whats interesting is theres a carpark across the street.

Arrived here in Hatherleigh for a few days stay and popped into the Coop for a few bits. The store itself is lovely, staff seem nuce and friendly.

Unfortunately that's where the good bit ended.

Some "drunken local male and female" started arguing, falling out and swearing very loudly throughout the store and then at one of the assistance.

I don't personally think it's an amazing image for said staff members to then start laughing at the female instead of either calling the police or kicking her out or asking her to refrain from her behaviour. My 3 and 6 year old kids don't need to see that!!

My wife had to leave with the children, not a great thing to witness. Whilst I appreciate her behaviour isn't reflective of the store, the way in which is wasn't dealt with is!! Not impressed!
