Lemons Cottage is the perfect, cosy, quintessentially English thatched cottage with all of the modern amenities and luxuries that you would want from a 5* holiday cottage. Our stay there was everything we hoped it would be - and more! The beds are so comfortable, the cinema room was a HUGE hit with our children, the kitchen is an absolute dream to cook in - usually I resent going away and having to cook in a sub-par holiday property kitchen, but this couldn't have been further from the reality of cooking at Lemons Cottage, which is so well equipped (better than my own!). The garden looked beautiful, the perfect space for summer G&Ts out on the patio area, and the bonus was community playground with a zipwire just beyond the garden which our children loved. Above all, it was such a delight to stay in a holiday property where everything worked! There are some stunning beaches nearby for long walks with dogs and lovely pubs in local villages to enjoy leisurely post-walk lunches. We will DEFINITELY be back!

We loved our stay at Lemons Cottage! The cottage is spacious and cozy at the same time. It has all of the practical comforts you would want in a cottage as well as the extra touches you would expect from a boutique hotel. We especially enjoyed the cinema room. It was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage provided everything we needed to make our 1.5 year old son comfortable as well. There are plenty of nice places to visit nearby. We especially loved Clovelly.

Stayed at Lemon Cottage as attending a wedding at Tree Tops . This was ideal .
From the moment we booked Rowland was quick to respond to any of our questions .
The cottage was easy to find and full of all the information needed to ensure a stress free stay.
The cottage itself is full of charm in a beautiful setting a quaint chocolate box look with lots of extra touches from the host which made us feel so welcome.
The rooms were full of character, warm, well maintained and of the highest standard.
I would recommend this cottage for your stay beautiful. Hope to revisit in the future an ideal location for a base to explore North Devon.

We stayed in this delightful cottage and we were not disappointed. Both our children and dogs were welcome. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, like visiting Covelly village and long sandy beach walks, culminating in a delicious lunch at one of Devon’s many charming pubs. The cottage itself is beautifully designed with everything you could possibly need for a holiday.

Such a beautiful spot. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our week in Devon... so nicely done, and the cinema room was particularly good for a couple of rainy afternoons! We did a couple of walks from the cottage, which were great, and then drove off to Saunton Sands for the day too. Would highly recommend!

We fell in love with Lemons Cottage the moment we saw it. It only got better. Once inside it was like a wonderfully appointed Tardis from the kitchen through the lounge to the cinema room and eventually the bedrooms. I was indeed so well appointed it more than deserved its 5* ratings- so comfortable and welcoming.

Had a great week. Beautiful cottage that keeps all of its character but then adds a modern touch - fibre broadband, a cinema room and Google speakers to play music. The cinema room in particular is genius and perfect for a rainy day

The cottage itself is a delight, really smartly designed and super comfortable for a family. The garden was a delight and the house is close enough to civilization to never have to worry. The nearby beach is a winner too...all in all Lemons cottage left no sour taste whatsoever. We'll be going back asap xx
