I love The Range, but this Brand new Range in Bishop Auckland is more expensive than the Range in Durham.
I went to get the same vase that smashed and was charging more.
It is smaller too.
Has very large car park.

Nicely set out with a good range of products.
Disabled parking is extremely limited. Totally inadequate for an expanding shopping park.
Staff are friendly and busy and the tills seem to serve at a decent speed. I was suprised how big the store is. It's only been opened since the beginning of July 2024, so I'm told by the shop assistant.

Having visited The Range in nearby locations I was looking forward to not having to travel to them any more with a new store right on my doorstep.

Hugely disappointed. Seems like a lot of the shelves are full of bankrupt stock from Wilko while they don’t have full ranges of home products compared to other Ranges.

As someone else mentioned on the reviews the queuing system is a mess. Garden centre barely justifies the name, and was largely empty of stock.

Hopefully this is the result of them rushing to open as opposed to being their long term strategy for the store - considering there’s a gigantic Home Bargains opened next door with more facilities, the Range will need to up their game in Bishop Auckland.

Lovely shop with plenty to look at. Disabled toilet is First Class. It's cleaner than the NHS toilets, absolutely wonderful job done. 10/10

I like how we have more shops now, just don't like the fact that some things you still need to order to collect from Durham or Darlington one as the range in Bishop doesn't seem to have the things that I want to buy I have to order them online to collect from Durham or Darlington

Maybe I went today on the wrong day...I love the darlington store and was pleased when I heard Bishop was having one but my first visit today was v disappointing. For a brand new store I thought it had a scruffy look about it already, what flooring have they used things weren't laid out well, the queuing system at the tills is strange and I didn't think much of the customer service by the girl who served us. The range of bedding was poor and I came away not wanting to rush back tbh.

The store will be an asset to the surrounding area, of Bishop Auckland, it's much closer for me than the Darlington store. I'm unsure if this store carries the full Range of stock but everything seemed to be on offer at this new store, when it visited over the weekend. There was nothing that I didn't notice, the only thing missing was the in store Cafe. Though I noticed that the price of some items seemed excessive, I'll let you all decide that for yourselves. Get yourself there for a peek and some retail therapy.

Great to have range in bishop better for car parking but I walk and trying too cross the roads verry hard with no lights to stop traffic on bizzy road
