Osdale Cottages - Isle of Skye

We stayed for two weeks in Osdale Byre. Unfortunately we had very poor weather during our stay including Storm Amy arriving during one of the weekends. This meant we had to spend more time indoors than we had originally planned but this was absolutely fine as the Byre was so cozy and comfortable. It was a perfect excuse to relax and unwind whilst sitting near the big picture windows watching the ever changing light.
The Byre was wonderful and peaceful with everything you would need provided for plus thoughtful extra touches. Communication with Anne and Lucy was great and the digital guidebook was really useful.
We hope to return sometime with our collie who loved it here too. Lovely to stay in such a dog friendly place.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and cozy cottage with a stunning view. It was simply perfect!

We immediately felt at home and simply enjoyed our time in Osdale.

Staying at Osdale Cottages was a dream. This place is a perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and luxury. The cottage was not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully appointed, making it a truly luxurious home away from home. We were touched by the warm welcome, which included a few local delicacies like butter, milk, and cookies—a perfect start to our trip.

The surroundings are simply magical. We spent our days gazing out at the vast moorlands dotted with sheep and cows, a classic Isle of Skye scene. The garden was full of life, with wild rabbits hopping around in the mornings and a variety of birds to watch. It felt like we were in our own private sanctuary. The cottage's location is also ideal, offering a sense of escape while still being a short drive from Dunvegan for all our essential needs and some great dining options. We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely outstanding accommodation. We stayed in the byre - Anne and Lucy have created a very comfortable and cosy setting. A very well-equipped cottage with the best of everything. The location is perfect - handy for the shops and restaurants in Dunvegan whilst also being in a very secluded and quiet spot. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the selection of DVDs is excellent. So nice to relax with a film after an active day! Thank you to Osdale Cottages - we hope to return and would highly recommend to others.

Stunning cottage in a stunning location. Very extensively equipped and decorated to a very high standard - wanted for nothing. The Osdale team were very friendly and engaging and their online information site for the cottage is by far the most extensive I’ve ever experienced. By far one of the very best breaks we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and we wouldn’t think twice about recommending it and hope to return before too long.

Absolutely amazing accomodation. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. The digital guide was so comprehensive, jam packed with lots of information. Really fantastic.
My family and I stayed in the Farmhouse, returning here for our 15th wedding anniversary. The farmhouse is immaculate, with everything you could possibly need for cooking, entertainment and doggy care. The owners clearly make every effort to make the accomodation high quality. A gorgeous welcome pack was provided, with delicious local goodies.
The location is absolutely idyllic and feels so peaceful and special.
We just loved every minute of our very special holiday.

We stayed at both The Brye and Osdale Farmhouse for a family getaway with the dogs. The cottages themselves were perfect! Both cottages had every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, which made cooking so much easier when compared to other accommodations we've previously stayed at. Both cottages featured underfloor heating, which was amazing, a fire place equipped with plenty of logs and firelighters, gorgeous shower rooms, soft bedding and towels, complimentary local soaps and a thoughtful starter food bundle, including the host hens eggs - delicious!

The outside areas were great, with benches dotted about to let you sit down and take in the views, each cottage had a BBQ, fenced area for dogs and plenty of parking outside both.

The hosts were amazing and very responsive to our questions and queries, and even brought extra eggs from their lovely hens half way through our stay - we felt very welcomed!

Our favourites thing about these cottages was how peaceful it was - we all agreed that we'd never stayed somewhere so relaxing. We all highly recommend both cottages for all families and their dog companions.

Beauitful cottage furnished to high standards, well laid out and stocked with everything required. The remote setting was so peaceful and still. The short drive to the local village meant you are able to nip out for food or head to local bakery. Welcome pack is wonderful, owners really friendly, helpful and welcoming
