Lovely owner, I love the smell of coffee but don't drink it. I popped into get a special bag of beans as a treat for my partner. The guy serving offered help and tasters but I explained the situation and he just let me get on with it, which I was very grateful for. The beans I chose smelt rich and chocolatey. I noticed they also sell very on trend hot chocolate bombs! The shop itself is beautifully laid out and smells really good.

Wow! I was instantly pulled in by the incredible smell and was just as blown away when I started talking to the owner, the knowledge was impressive and informative and the main thing is he wasn't pushing a sale, He was massively enthusiastic about hes product and that sold it for me, I got a really cheap setup for a first time fresh coffee user and after 2 days I'm totally sold for the future and I'm NOT going back, the fact its ground in front of you or before hes post's for online and its nowhere near expensive I'm impressed! Highly recommended for a everyday coffee drinker, saying that I must add they obviously do a thousand different tea's and chocolate goodies.

Fantastic coffee beans that bring enormous levels of joy in our mornings ... and evenings. If you ever have the chance, definitely try the decaff. It's delicious. Bill is very lovely and the atmosphere is so friendly there. Highly recommended. ☕️

Coffee beans are top class. On my visit I was made a tester cup of there in house Riposo blend and it was absolutely beautiful, look no further for your coffee stock up! This is now all I drink! You won’t be disappointed!

Summary: Amazing roaster hidden within cheddar, friendly, knowledgeable & passionate.

Today was my 3rd (4th?) time going to Wyvern Coffee, as always friendly greeted and left to browse with the reminder of if I need any advice to just ask.

We ended up having a nice in depth conversation about the different coffee's they have available their tasting notes and what brew methods they work well with. It's clear from the approx 25 mins I spent in there, that their passionate about what they do and have excellent knowledge.

Living in Bristol where the coffee roasting competition is high, people are often surprised when I tell them to get the best coffee they have to travel out to cheddar. But it's absolutely true.

Wyvern not only produces the best variety of quality coffee in the south west but it's proprietor offers the best tasting-experience. I genuinely look forward to running out of coffee now so I can take a trip up and spend some time.

Great place with a wide selection of teas and coffees! We learned a lot about cheddar gorge from them as well. It's a shame they are not allowed selling coffee take away. The landowner should be ashamed preventing local businesses flourish. That would be such a great place to stop for a coffee!

Not a great coffee drinker but popped into the shop and explained this and the man was patient, and explained the process and the different beans he pointed me towards the Riposo bean and have to say ended up with tea ,coffee and a whole lot else !! Being a local i will definitely be back as I'm now hooked on the coffee.
Excellent shop ,highly recommended.
