Definitely worth a visit if you are a tourist in Cheddar.

Has a fairly large selection of ciders and some liqueurs.

Samples are available to help you decide which scrumpy to buy, sweet, medium or dry.

The only thing missing for me was a medium dry!

Happened upon the Leg Bender Cider shop on out visit to Chedder Gorge. It is right there near the start of the gorge next door to the Chedder Cheese Company. We were greeted by a friendly enough guy offering samples of mulled cider, which seemed popular. The shop seems to have some association with Rich’s Cider and this is the main cider they stock in dry, medium & sweet varietals. In addition to Rich’s there are some other local cider and Cheddar ale options. Not a place I would go out my way for by any means and it is pretty touristy, but if you happen to be visiting Cheddar gorge, why not?

You can taste the cider in the shop. There were a wide variety of drinks. The service was warm and friendly. I like the medium cider the most.

Great cider shop. Comes with the expected helpful try-before-you-buy service you'd expect from cider shops. The mulled cider is great too, and can be bought to drink immediately, to take away, or you can buy the mulling spices to add to your own cider later. They do also sell beer, some wines and jams too. But mainly cider!

Came here as an 8 year old and mistook the cider for apple juice. Was still really nice tasting (even if I was sick, because I was 8) ! Will be coming back, hopefully soon! Spectacular!
