Great store but it all balances out to 1 star because of the horrible staff!!!!

I tried to purchase some yarn which went smoothly until I started interacting with the staff, although she seemed to be more polite to a customer obviously about to make a larger purchase, I have been in this shop around 6/7 times but the staff always puts me off and sometimes puts me off even coming in, when I wanted to be polite and ask where to tap on the card reader because it didn’t have visible indication to avoid trouble she replied with an attitude “we’re all manual here, I have to type it in first, we’re not automatic, you should know that by now” and she said that I “should know that by now” after asking what the minimum length would need to be when buying ribbon when I had never purchased it in this store before, in general I think this is outrageous, she was always very impatient and I felt belittled and rushed if I’m being honest - I was being treated like staff in the sense that “I should know this by now” said with an attitude after being in this store approximately 6/7 times, if you’re gonna have any questions at all once you enter this store I personally don’t think it’s worth it due to the stuck up personas of the staff.

My experience last week of the wool shop was very disappointing. Amazing products but the service from Jane had a 'couldn't care less' attitude. It's a shame, l will now be ordering on line

I visited today needing help with a fair isle project. I had given up hope of finding six colours in good wool. Angela, the owner spent a great deal of time with me helping me to select a group of colours in a fabulous merino wool. I’m waiting for a couple of colours to come on order, and raring to go. A great shop. A curious and wonderful setting for wool. Best I’ve found in years.
