Great place, all staff are helpful and friendly.
The selection of plants are amazing, really tidy and displayed in sections really well. The home interior bits are amazing, I could spend a fortune in their... So many things I want to purchase!!
I haven't looked at the clothes, but they look nice enough, from passing through to the canteen, which again, all staff are really welcoming, it's clean and tidy and the layout is great too, along with good quality tables and chairs. The menu is fantastic, we only had a coffee on this visit, which was good, but we said we'd definately eat there next time, the choice is incredible for a garden centre, from mains, sandwiches, cakes, salads and small bits. It all looked really nice to, from what I could see.
The christmas stuff (just going out) interior plants, kids section, kitchen stuff, smellies for the house, I brought some incense sticks...So much stuff to look at, again, all displayed really well and so clean and tidy.
Some things are expensive and some bits reasonable, like most of these places, but they do have some lovely and unusual interior bits.

Visited the newly refurbished Garden Centre recently and was very impressed. Beautifully laid out with a variety of merchandise as well as plants. I stopped at the new Origins cafe with friends and they had a good selection of food, cakes and pastries. I was very impressed with the friendly staff who work in the cafe. It is very clean, hygienic and tidy. Have subsequently returned there on a further two occasions as the food was so good. Definitely worth a visit after browsing around. The cafe also has a dog friendly area on the outside which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend both garden centre and cafe.

Don’t get me wrong this is a very nice place. Loads of lovely products and beautiful flowers. The restaurant is first class and the food is freshly made and is delivered to your table by polite and friendly staff.
The reason I’ve given this 3 stars is for accessibility. You go in the entrance, which is the actual plant section, it’s laid out so you have to zig zag your way through. Not a problem you may think but if you limited mobility as I do it feels like your doing a marathon. Then you negotiate your way through the other departments to get to the restaurant which is at the furthest corner. I know this is the norm as it takes you the departments so you browse and buy. If it wasn’t for the garden furniture display where I could sit to relieve my pain I would not have made it.
The signage for exit isn’t clear enough. We spent a fair time trying to get out.

This place has changed from being a very friendly browsing and lunching meet up with friends and family with very reasonable prices, into a very commercially run enterprise. The displays are now very slick with an astonishing array of plants, garden equipment, household goods and a wide range gifts to meet every need. Instead of being able to drift and browse from department to department, the customer is now channelled and obliged to take their route through the maze of shelving which made me feel claustrophobic. From a modestly priced outlet there is now an eye-watering change in the pricing.
The staff are very pleasant and cheerful but the one I asked for some information about a plant did not seem to be informed about that area of the shop.
The whole area is on one level and very easy for wheelchair users to access.
The car parking is free and copies with dedicated disabled parking spaces.
Children and prams were made welcome and dogs on leads were welcome.
As I did not eat there I cannot comment on the restaurant.

Some high prices meant we did not get as much as we were thinking we might.... Restaurant was good, but again high prices meant we snacked rather than ate a meal. Real problem was the disabled parking spaces were all covered with "show" stuff. Unable to park as needed, but we still went in from a distance....

I love the new display in the plant area.
However, I have always felt claustrophobic in the layout of their shop and it is much worse since the redesign. There is no clear and easy way out, and the exit by the checkout is cluttered.
I don't like it.
