Watch out PARKING ISN`T FREE FOR SHOPPERS - the car park is a Honey Trap Parking sign says free parking if u spend more than £20 Its a Lie there`s no way of voiding your parking if u stay longer than 45 minutes you get a whopping fine instead AVOID AVOID AVOID

Old shop SCALA knocked down to build more flats for students. New co op is much smaller than old store. Nowhere as good as it used to be.

Convenient supermarket that opens till late. Staff are friendly and there is a good variety and quantity of products on offer including a small selection of electrical goods, definitely enough for anything you would need for a weekly shop.

However the selection of fresh produce is a tiny bit limited and may not be super fresh all the time, probably due to low footfall.

Paint peeling, shop looks tired and untouched in years, staff uninterested. A poor supermarket that should be so much better than it is in this location. Quick checkout tills with no staff to hand to clear alcohol purchases etc. Just Poor .

Good local CO OP for it's size it has a good selection, but does suffer from stocking issues. The supermarket staff are friendly but they seem under staffed for such a busy shop. The main factor that lets this shop down is the truly awful automated checkout, I had a basket of shopping which every item failed after scanning and I had to get a member of staff to clear it each time and this is not the first time this has happened. Most automated tills are OK, but have the odd issue, but these are on another level.

A good food store.
But sometimes I need to hunt down items that have ran out on the shelves and are on promotion at the front of the store.
Promotions and reductions are good.
Fruit and veg are good, but can run out.
A good magazine selection, around the corner.
Not enough employees are managing checkouts at busy times: (Early evening)... It takes to long to line up and go through checkout.

Friendly staff & great selection of produce, despite the recent downsizing. Variety is great & caters to the slightly alternative student/young family democratic well eg rye sourdough, lentils, sprouted beans, good home baking section. Not always the cheapest, but very convenient.

Very friendly and helpful staff, never too crowded, easy to park, good range of products. Always felt safe in lockdown. Only prob is air con is sometimes too cool!
