It's Sad to say but this town is dying...there's only 5 shops open, Wh Smith, savers, vape shop, clothing shop, chairty shop and another clothes shop.
Big parking, lots of spaces.
Half an hour is free and then £1 for all day.
The car park closes at 7pm

Sadly, a sign of the times in that there's noticeably low footfall, presumably causing units to become vacant. The centre has a large car park with hardly any cars in it! Several chain stores there and some units are occupied by charity shops (which are still worth a look).

I don't mind charity shops, but how many do we need in the town. It's decent ladies and men's clothes shops we need. I worked in Superdrug years ago. In the 1980,s we had Wilsons fruit and a veg shop. Doing help yourself salads. New Look ladies clothes shop. Samuel's jewellers.

Good range of shops inside and out. Free to use toilets. Always a plus. Heritage centre sadly only has very limited opening but has some very interesting items from the past in its window displays.

Still has a 3 or 4 shops that are needed (Savers, WH Smith, H Samuel and Card Factory) but quite desolate with a lot of the other premises shut.

Hardly any shops now. It's a shame, used to down town and used to be packed with people and full of different retailers. Lot of factors relate to this, cost of rent for shop units, cost of living prices, less available money to spend, on line shopping. Stores moving to out of town retail parks. Not just the arndale but Accrington town centre shopping in general. Can catch a bus and go back on the next one a hour later after buying what I need.
