I visited your establishment yesterday with a group of 12 people. While we understand that serving a large group can present challenges, unfortunately our experience fell well below reasonable expectations, and I felt it important to share our feedback.

Most of us placed our orders through the app, but due to technical issues, a couple of us had to order directly at the bar instead. That in itself wasn't a problem, however, the handling of our drinks order was disappointing.

There was a significant delay in our drinks being delivered. When we asked a staff member about it, we were told that our drinks had already been given to us. This was simply not the case. We explained that the few drinks on our table had been brought over by those who ordered at the bar, not via the app. Despite this, the staff member continued to insist we had received the drinks and only brought them over reluctantly. To make matters worse, she removed two of the drinks she was delivering, so we still ended up short. Due to her dismissive attitude, we didn’t pursue it further, as it felt more trouble than it was worth. Unfortunately, she was not wearing a name badge, so we couldn't identify her to provide direct feedback.

In addition to this, the food service was very unorganized. Eight out of twelve people received their food well in advance of the rest. By the time the last three meals arrived, the majority had already finished eating. While we appreciate that large groups can be challenging, we were not given any heads-up about delays, which would have at least helped us manage expectations.

We chose your venue for what we hoped would be a relaxed and enjoyable group outing, but the combination of poor communication, inconsistent service, and dismissive staff left us quite disappointed. Which is a shame as the food was lovely.

I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Mel and Enola during my visit, and I can confidently say they made the entire experience exceptional. From the moment we were seated, they where warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Mel was friendly demeanor and genuine smile added such a lovely energy to the atmosphere.

Mel anticipated our needs without us having to ask, offered great recommendations, and checked in on us just the right amount—never intrusive, always thoughtful. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes such pride in their work and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cared for.

Thank you, mel, for your outstanding service—you’re a true gem and a credit to your team. I’ll definitely be returning, and I’ll be asking for you!

Grace absolutely stole the show, providing sensational customer service and friendliness was totally on point. The service was extremely quick and the food was fresh and hot. Grace deserves to be promoted for this amazing experience where she focused on our experience ensuring we had everything we needed

It was a surprise birthday party for me which was lovely. They reserved an L shaped table, which was awkward as my daughter had her back to several family members. I feel there was enough room to have a straight arrangement, which would have been a lot better. The use of an app to order did make it easier to divide up the costs. The food itself seemed to go down well. The only real gripe was that the plates were not cleared from the table before the deserts were brought out. I would go back again

I stoped in the pub as I’m staying at the premier inn next door. It’s Monday, I mention the day as I got the deal they have set for today.
I got the 12oz rump steak with chips, peas and 2 onion ring. I will add pictures to show you what I’m talking about.
I have my steaks medium rare as I do like a bit of blood with my meat.
When the plate arrived it was on an oval shaped plate, there was no sizzling plate like you would expect, the steak looked well done to the point of it looked burnt, I was going to send it back but I wanted you lot to see what you get for your money.
I decided to cut it through the middle to see how it looked in the inside, to be fair it was medium rare but the problem was the cooking method, the fat was undercooked on the steak which gave the meat a distinct taste why I didn’t flatter the piece of meat on my plate, the cooking method seemed to be that he had his grill to high which will over cook and burn the outside but it’s gives you the desired affect in the middle of the meat, I’m a chef and have been for 25 years so this gives me the understanding of how this was cooked.
The chips looked like the where McCains oven chips, they were ok and the 2 onion rings were ok as well.
For the price it’s a good meal in the sense of the portion but for taste and enjoyment I would give this place a miss.
The staff was nice, but the pub was empty, it was 16:30 so that might explain that.
It took about 15 mins for my meal to come so that was about right

Just had to pay a court costs for £277.12
Went there 2 1/2 years ago for my daughter‘s first birthday did it go inside Stayed in the garden with my daughter and my dad because it was a lovely day and my dad is a smoker.
I had a breakfast wrap absolutely disgusting full of greasy anyway left there went home week later got a parking fine no signs in the garden saying you have to put your license plate number in a machine. I didn’t go in the pub where there was two signs which I found out But I had no reason to go in there because I was in the garden with my daughter
when mention it to a member of staff, did not want to help me. I emailed Britannia car park got no response so I thought that was the end of it Until 2 1/2 years later I’ll get a court sum for £277 I usually go to the pub twice three times a month now I will not step foot in the building.
There is only one loser here and that’s the pub because I will not take me and my family or my friends in there ever again add that up in revenue as a lot of money.

My medium steak came burnt and tough as old boots and cold fries. The very pleasant member of staff took it back. Got an excellent replacement but it meant I was eating mine after everyone else had finished, their meals were very acceptable although the fries were Luke warm. One complaint I have with the majority of Greene King eateries is that it is so cold at the table, is the heating too expensive?

So this is the second day that I came here, I love the food. However, the waiter/bartender(the guy with the haircut from 1990 was really rude to me, probably because I got in the pub speaking a east European language on the phone. I tried to be nice and polite. However, he said to me what you want on a ditry tone, and in the end, I just tried to show some more politeness, and he was just ignoring me and giving me dirty looks. I loved my sizzler stake. However, I won't probably go back there to feel how I felt today. In case you're a foreigner, I won't recommend going to this racists pub.
