Absolutely loved our visit to The Bull in Brentwood! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s incredibly child-friendly, which made the whole experience even better for our family. The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic pub food, all cooked to perfection and served piping hot. We especially appreciated the spacious outdoor area—a perfect spot to relax while the kids played safely. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. A real gem of a pub with a warm atmosphere and something for everyone!

Really great experience as a coeliac. Saw other coeliacs recommend The Bull for their variety of GF options & care about cross contamination. As a cautious coeliac I can 100% recommend, the food was absolutely delicious and practically the whole menu can be made GF! Server knew about coeliac and I felt really confident eating there, it even said coeliac on my receipt. Will definitely be returning. Didn't catch the waitresses name but she was a young, blonde girl who was lovely & made my experience stress free! 🩷

Lovely lunch enjoyed here. Delicious steak and ale pie, huge burger and some yummy desserts (banana split, apple crumble) loved the traditional puddings inc fruit salad, Eton mess. Would highly recommend

Upon entering the pub was gorgeously decorated and very welcoming. We got seated and service was very prompt.

I wanted to come here as i am gluten free and have heard the food was amazing.

And i can safely say that gluten or no gluten the food is exceptional. I had the gluten free cajun burger and gluten free sticky toffee pudding. You wouldnt know that its gluten free at all!

My husband had normal burger and a sundae and he said everything for him was perfect too.

Highly recommend this pub!

On our way back from our holiday and wanted something nice to eat before going home .. and in passing see the bull .. OMG.. AMAZING.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.. service was friendly and polite.. Great warm welcome when we arrived.. food was so filling and delicious 😋.. lovely pub/ restaurant.. very clean.

Definitely returning soon

Family birthday meal, staff were friendly, pub itself was nice with extra outdoor areas at the back. The only downside was the Sunday carvery unfortunately I felt had no flavour and the meat portion was small.

Poor food to say the least. Lovely sausages on one side, the other side where they had been left in the oven to dry out had turned to tough sausage flavoured cardboard. Likewise the so called crispy onions, these looked like they were once absolutely delicious, but were sadly a simulacrum of what they once were.
