Do not buy the jelly lip sweets that are on top of the counter they were rock hard when I went to eat them, also when stuff says mix and match 3 for £5 you should be able to match different items, I advise to make it clearer for people possibly putting on the note this item only

Went in on Mother’s Day to purchase 4 boxes of fudge for 5 pound, gave the lady a 10 pound note, she gave me 4.90 change because I also bought a bag for 10p, as I was wasn’t looking she laid a five pound note on the cash register and then said hang you only gave me five pounds and demanded the 4.90 back and then had the cheek to say I owed her 10p for the bag. She has obviously done that before because of the speed she did it she is very rude and very dishonest. I would stay clear of this store. Unfortunately I had no way of proving it was a 10 pound note I gave her. Shoppers beware and don’t get robbed like I did.

Took grandsons here for ice cream one wanted tub the other a cone. Like previous reviews stating £2.00 a scoop, very expensive and certainly did not taste of rhubarb and custard. Then the whippy coned ice cream, the youngest grandson tasted and didn't like, so his mum tasted and I tasted and we both said that it was sour, when complaint was put in , although she changed to a scoop the lady was very rude to my daughter,. Unfortunately we won't be visiting them again.

Sign outside clearly stated ‘one scoop £2’ so bought my daughter a tub & asked for 2 scoops, women the proceeds to tell us that will be £5! Apparently the £2 scoop is if you also have a cone, so I’m buying less yet paying for more?

Just sat on the sea front eating donuts and my 4yr old daughter can join us. The donuts are beautiful and she was so happy she could have some. Very nice friendly staff. Definatly recommended to visit for gluten free. The have a wide selection of ice creams to choose from. The smile on my daughters face is priceless. 😁😁

Horrible staff!

Went in and straight away a woman pushed past me to and I didn't realise it was the staff. The lighting was terrible UV-style. Went up to the counter to purchase my nan and grandad's favourite treats a strawberry cable and coconut mushrooms. When I asked for the chocolate fudge the staff lady said "ITS FUDGE" in an aggressive tone I decided not to get any. I got my cash out to pay. I'm still not sure after covid and in 2023 shops don't accept card payments? I asked the lady how much a strawberry lace and coconut mushroom was and she said the amount was snappy, I didn't have enough cash on me so I said oh ok just the strawberry lace then please and she threw the packet down and shouted "FOR GOD SAKE" I was a bit surprised but still wanted the strawberry lace and asked how much was it on its own as there were no prices on the shelf and barked back at me "DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT" I just put my hands up, backed away and said oh no thank you not anymore. and as I walked away she shouted "SEE YA"

How do women like her work in tourism rock shops I'll never understand, Plenty of other jobs out there that isn't customers facing. She's lucky that she didn't speak like that to the wrong person and I can shrug it off and walk away. Some people get pushed off coming to Skegness together thanks to people like that.

Very very disappointed i bought three large sticks of rock and looked at other sticks which said soft rock but not my rock so was confident mine wasn’t soft.Lo and behold when I got home and tried it it’s soft.Need I say more! I wondered if it’s not mentioned about it being soft because it is cheaper to produce i.e, less heat required to produce.
Anyway I won’t eat it but I’ll ask friends if it’s any use to them.I don’t think I’ll risk it again because it’s the second time I’ve been caught out.I feel cheated! This was bought in Fantasy island my first visit there.
