So this is the second time we have been to the Rhinos Challenge weekend. The first time was in the usual butlins apartments and they weren't the best, but this time We stayed in the new lodges and they were fantastic, very clean and maintained. Only down side i would say was it is a fair walk to the main tent, but the weather was great, so it wasn't too bad, but I can imagine if it was poor weather, you would be pretty wet. Other than that, we loved the rhinos challenge weekend. I would definitely recommend the lodges!!

Second time running. Did not disappoint. Costumer service second to none. Events were amazing. Especially some tunes. Bottom less brunch and actives, what can I say… brilliant.
All guests behaved and were respectful to each other.
Only critic, my friend and I had to share smallest bedroom. Couldn’t swing a cat. However, overall the facilities were great.

I know it might seem surprising that I'm giving such a low review for a place that many of us cherished during our childhood, a place with a great reputation. However, during my recent visit, I encountered some significant issues that cannot be ignored.

Firstly, there were rats everywhere, which poses a serious health risk to humans. As I was heading back from the main area around midnight, I saw what looked like rabbits playing or trying to eat the rats. There were about four rats just happily playing on a road next to some of the new caravans.

furthermore, the overall experience was far from pleasant. Many parts of the area now look outdated and old, as if they have never been updated or renovated. This includes the apartments, which in the past, have had mould everywhere and looked incredibly run-down.

Despite these issues, I must commend the entertainment. It has always been the best part of Butlins and continues to be. The shows and activities are fantastic and have consistently provided great fun and enjoyment.

However, having been to Butlins over 15 times, these recent experiences have really put me off. The presence of rats and the deteriorating condition of the facilities are concerning, and it's disappointing to see a place with such fond memories fall into such a state.

Stayed in a premium lodge on maple walk. It was clean and tidy. I Have no complaints in regards to the accommodation and the service from the staff was good. Would give 5 stars if they had hot tubs.

It's a great place for the kids and a great place for a mini break but other than that don't get hopes high everything shuts early it's very unclean and ull hardly see any redcoats and if you do on the rarity they might say hi.....only best part is the ice cream and the beach....just a Shane it's not cleaned well very dirty especially in the rooms I suggest you take your own bedding
