Okay so we went for a quick weekend trip (Friday to Sunday) we stayed in the lucky caravan (meant to be full on fun for children, we paid £197 included in this was the van, entertainment passes a visit from lucky and a lucky bag for each child.|| When we arrived on park it was midday the caravan was free as when we booked it offered us the Thursday to Monday so we knew the van was free, also the fact they had just opened to the public this weekend, we asked due to having 2 disabled children and a newborn baby if we could access the accommodation on arrival to be told it may not be ready (how I don’t know as it was opening week and nobody had been in it the day before) to be told yes you can for £20 more 🤷‍♀️ we was then told we needed to pay a refundable deposit of £50 and would receive this back when we left on the Friday, we then had to go and find a cash point as the one in the arcade and onsite shop was not working, we paid the deposit and got our keys to be told then the swimming pool was out of service as they are making improvements, this was not on there website at time of booking. We went to the caravan we had booked the lucky caravan for the children to enter it and there was just a few stickers about nothing special, I could have printed some posters myself and put them up with blue tack, to say this was meant to be a child friendly caravan there was nothing child friend about it, there was only glasses and cups and normal plates so plastic cups, beakers, plates ect, there was no hairdryer and the central heating was switched of and there was no info given on arrival to explain how to turn it on via the boiler we had to suss it out ourselves, the oven was dangerous as some of the knobs just spun around and didn’t have any numbers on them so we didn’t know if the oven was on or off.|The club was old and tired and really could do with a facelift, was surprised the arcade didn’t have up to date machines and still using paper tickets instead of plastic cards that can be reused.||They advertised bingo as a link high priced game and unfortunately it was not due to lack of players so was a small in house game, the entertainment for the children was fun and it was nice they had an adult entertainment later on but they really was shocking more like karaoke. The drink and food deals where very good and we did have fish and chips x2 plus 2 other adult meals and 3 kids meals plus 2 pints and 5 juices at the villager pub co owed by coast fields for 66 quid, bargain. They also do 4 pints of fosters for 15 quid so cannot moan at that. Lucky came to see the children on Saturday at 12 but unfortunately no lucky bags came so we asked about these at the venue on the evening and a very nice gentleman sorted us out with some gifts from the team and the children where happy. The staff on reception were helpful and friendly as were the entertainment team and bar staff.|Play area is in a silly place with no safe walkway for children to access it and also not grass for children to play ball games just a really small park. Which is disappointing, the cut through was also fenced off where you access fantasy island so you have to walk all the way around on a very narrow path to with a pushchair is not good.||The onsite shop is stupidly priced £3 for a bottle of water is absolutely disgusting so make sure you do some shopping before coming to the site. We did however use the Chinese onsite but nothing todo with coast fields and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced we fed all of us for £56 great portions and lovely staff. ||Okay so it got to leaving day and we had to call a number on the paperwork to have someone come and check our caravan so we could receive our deposit back, the number just lead to a line saying it did not exist so we had to go over to the office to be told he will be over soon, the guy walked in had a quick walk around, sighs the paper and says lock up take your keys back and you will get your money back, |Okay if I’m locking up what’s the point of the deposit I could have then unplugged the tv and taken it home or trashed the van where’s the common sense in the deposit scheme? ||I would probably visit again in the hope the pools open and there was abit more in the day for the children todo. Not amazing not terrible.

if you are thinking of buying a caravan on this site beware!!!!! once the van is 10 years old you cannot privately sell it on. you have to sell it back to them for less than half of what it's worth. site fees creep up every year. you cant buy decking privately has to be through the site and you pay through the noise! entertainment for children is good. pool facilities when open are good. has laundrette but not all machines work. better places to eat around near site...there are better sites to buy a van on in my opinion.

We loved it ❤️ lovely updated caravan near to all amenities but quiet. Our dog loved the big windows to look out of. We booked a caravan with a balcony so the dog and us could watch the world go by. All staff were lovely and friendly 😊 no issues getting the deposit back and it took about 10 minutes for the inspection on the last morning. Highly recommend.

Arrived and bedding wasn't on and caravan was dirty. Lots of broken things I.e. garden chairs which are not safe for children. Toilet in caravan leaked.||Visited the week before bank holiday (checking out on bank holiday Monday) and childrens school holidays (school holidays started on the Friday evening of our stay) and there was no entertainment monday-thursday as it wasn't "peak time", entertainment came on from the Friday (for school holidays).||Swimming pool slide was broken / out of use.||Refused to serve breakfast at 10am due to low demand, despite the signs saying "breakfast from 9am". ||The site shop was open until 6pm until the Friday and then it opened until 8pm. I get it is quiter in term time but we paid our way for our booking, surely we are entitled to just as much?||Site restaurant "Bar Rumba" was closed for the first 4 nights of our stay.||WiFi is £25 for a week! WHAT!!||Had to pay £10 to hire a cot and £10 to hire a highchair, despite booking for a baby - never mind the fact the caravan has NO room for a cot.||Only good thing about the site is the location.

STAY AWAY !!! We booked a 3-day stay at Coastfield Holiday Park during the April bank holiday, but it turned out to be one of the worst holiday experiences we’ve had. The main issue was that the toilet in our accommodation was completely unusable—the water wouldn’t drain at all. We reported the issue to reception multiple times, but despite raising the complaint repeatedly, no one ever came to resolve it.

What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the receptionist. She was dismissive and unhelpful, and at one point even told us that if we weren’t happy, we should just leave. Each time we asked for an update, we were met with vague responses like, “when someone is available, we’ll send them,” but no action was ever taken.

As a result, we were forced to use the shared park toilets for two full days, which was completely unacceptable, especially considering we had paid for accommodation with private facilities. With no resolution in sight and the situation becoming increasingly uncomfortable, we had no choice but to cut our stay short by a day.

Overall, the combination of poor maintenance and unprofessional customer service ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday. I strongly advise others to avoid booking here to prevent a similar experience.

Absolutely love this caravan site. Been coming here for years with my family. Love it so much we have bought our own caravan now. We now have two caravans on coastfields. Coastfields is so close to the beach and has all the main attractions on the doorstep. Also has everything on site that you need to make a perfect family holiday. Heated indoor Swimming pool and jacuzzi, show bar with entertainment, aqua lounge that do lovely meals. More bars Chinese, Launderette, shop . Play park on site. The sales team and staff are all amazing. We have recently bought another caravan and special mention to Lewis who made the sale go perfectly smooth. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting a family holiday. Ideally situated for everything.
