Overall we were happy here. Nice welcome, clean, a couple of tables to eat off, no dogs and flat.
But, there is quite a lot of road noise from motorcyclist accelerating hard out of the village, and it is priced the same as some local sites in better locations. The walk into the village is not pleasant due to the road noise, but is worth it. The noise did die down about 8pm so we slept fine.
We would use it again, but only for one night.
There is a flat spot for camper vans.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little reluctant to camp here easter bank holiday weekend. However. No issues at all. The owner was very friendly and helpful and accommodated us as best as she could. As there are no designated drive on pitches and I have a T5 with vango awning tent. So she took down some barriers for me so I was able to set up. The bathroom / wash / toilets are very clean and the shower was awesome and spacious. I would definitely stay here again. The town centre is only a 15 / 20 min walk away. We had our two boys 10 and 7yrs old who loved it. They where allowed to play football and have a run about. We did the water fall trail and it was awesome. The camp site is on a very busy road but it didn't bother us at all.

As a cyclist on the pennine cycleway I stayed two nights at this place and honestly I wish I hadn't, the road can be excused but next door they have a bunch of cabins filled with people who kept me up until around 2AM on the first night then on the second night I got around an hour of sleep before some fellow campers decided to set up a nightclub and kept their loud music going from midnight until 4AM so I started packing while shaking from fatigue. Do not bother the owner clearly doesn't care and if you do try this place just bring a big set of earplugs because it's only way you'll get any sleep. Other than that facilities basic, price for pitch inflated and area lovely.

This campsite is very basic and once you have paid you don't see the owners again. They are not the kind to want a friendly chat. |There are 2 fields to camp in, one slightly away from the toilet block but this field is flatter. The site has an outside water tap, a shower, toilets men and women's and pot washing facilities. |The campsite is about a 20 min walk into ingleton so very handy for that. |This site takes of D of E group's. The main road is also quite noisy if you struggle to sleep at night.

Decent little campsite, the facilities were old but clean and usable, although with only 2 female toilets and 1 male with a urinal there could have done with more. If you are a lite sleeper I would suggest you go to the far side of the field with it being so close to the A65, Ingleton is very near with a Co-op a chippy and a few pubs easily within walking distance. No dogs are allowed which will be a plus for some people and at ÂŖ7 a night per person I think it was very resonably priced. I will be using it again.

My kind of campsites, toilet facilities and showers are clean and maintained to a far standard.
No designated pitches so you can be as big or as small as you need.
As aforementioned, the main road that the site is located on can be a bit noisy, but apart from that I enjoyed our visit.
Will definitely use this site again.

I called and asked could I use the toilet on way through. The owner was polite and let me use it for free. I checked out the facilities and found them clean and useable. I also checked out the field, nice and flat well cut grass. Very cheap too. Only downside is near to the main road but the field does go back a bit. I will be staying here when next up in the area. The one negative reviewer is nuts if you ask me. Bringing all of his friends and kids to have a barbeque and play football, and expecting them all to use it for free, what do you expect? Not fair on other guests who deserve some peace.
