Had Sunday lunch here in April 2025. It was among the best - possibly the very best - Sunday lunches I've ever had. I had the beetroot and goat cheese to start, which was excellent, but the roast pork loin main course was phenomenal. It wasn't so much the meat but the veg and accompaniments that made it special; they were high-end restaurant quality rather than standard pub fare. My friend had the veggie option - a squash, sweet potato and mushroom bake - and she enjoyed it very much too. The chocolate mousse we shared was also delicious. Service was efficient, welcoming and friendly despite the restaurant being very busy. Good selection of local ales, of which I sadly could only have a half pint as I was driving. Prices weren't cheap but no more than you'd expect for food of this quality in this day and age. Highly recommended and I plan to visit again next time I'm in the area.

As a couple (with a dog in tow), we had a lovely meal here. Great ambience with attentive service.
I would advise booking in advance for a table. Great beer (real ale).
It's definitely worth a visit.

Really impressed with this pub. The decor, food, service and atmosphere was all fantastic. We were sat at a tall table by the bar because everywhere else was fully booked and I expected to not enjoy it as much as we would if we were seated at a proper table but the staff were so lovely and attentive. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Absolutely adding this pub to my list of favourites that I'd like to visit again.

The Marton Arms is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. The inn itself is full of character, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. Our room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The highlight of our visit was the restaurant, the food was simply outstanding (everything was eaten before we remembered to take photos). Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, made with fresh, local ingredients. The bar also offers a fantastic selection of local ales and wines.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a stop on a countryside adventure, or just a great meal in a welcoming setting, The Marton Arms is the place to go.

Came here for lunch today, service was lovely, the food was exceptionally presented and very tasty. Would definitely return!

Didn't stay over so not sure what the rooms were like but the inn side of things was nicely decorated, clean with fresh flowers in the windows 🥰 unfortunately it was a bit rainy but on a good day the beer garden looks over a lovely little church.

Stayed with the family for the weekend, staff were fantastic as was the food. The rooms are fine and the location was perfect.

Had a lovely meal here whilst on holiday. It was a super relaxed atmosphere, service was good and speedy and they had a good range of ales. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely go back.

We only went for dinner. Lovely food except for we both had fish pie and although full of fish, lacked sauce. It was definitely on the dry side.
Secondly you'd expect Inna gastro pub to be asked at least once " is everything ok with your food?". We weren't , not once ! . I was surprised!
