Caroline is an enthusiastic host and has thought of everything we could need for a cosy weekend in this gorgeous part of the country. Beds are comfy, cottage is delightful, brilliantly located and clean. Enjoyed using the Aga (with perfectly crisp bacon for the meat eaters in the family). We even got a delicious homemade cake and fresh eggs on arrival.

Ingleton is a fantastic spot to visit on it’s own with the local scenery, walks and caves all worth a visit. Plenty of places to get good food in and around the village. All in all a lovely weekend.

The most important to say about Marian Cottage is that coming there you at once get the feeling that the owner, Caroline, wants you to have a good time. Small details tell that you will be good taken care of. The cottage has what you need. If you enjoy hiking in the mountains and staying in a small pitoresc village, you have to have a nice holiday. I enjoyd my week, days were going too fast and I would be happy to come back!

stopped in this lovely cottage from Friday - Monday AM and I must say what a fantastic location it is. Very close to some fantastic walks (falls a must).
Pubs, restaurants, shops all within a short walking distance.
The host gave us a very warm welcoming into her beautifully cottage and I must say spotless and well equipped.
Having arrived home we had a text saying someone had left a bunch of keys and 4 days later they were posted back to myself so a big thankyou Caroline.

This cottage is lovely..great location within walking distance to the village... good walks close by..nice pubs and cafes... the cottage has everything u need and his lovely and clean.. the owner is very welcoming... would definately come bk...well worth the money😊

Very cosy cottage ideally location for exploring the Dales and south lakes. Caroline is the perfect host and bakes a cracking Victoria sponge.
