If you have stumbled on the Oakroyd and you decide to book (do!), you are in for such a treat! I can honestly say that Beth and Phil are the most excellent hosts and the kindest people. In fact we were blown away by their generosity! They will respond to anything so quickly, give the best advice of places to book/visit, resolve anything (even if you just not understanding rather than anything wrong). I have never felt so welcomed and looked after! And we book a lot of places!
The house itself is breathtaking. And the quality of everything in it is so high, you cannot believe this is not the home they live in regularly. There is nothing you could think of needing that is not in the house, it is so well equipped. High spec tvs, showers, BBQ, sofas, ovens, bedding, towels, carpets, outdoor furniture, and the kitchen has every gadget going! The bedrooms are so plush and the beds are so comfortable my two teens did not want to return to their own beds (which is unheard of!). The positioning of the house is perfect in terms of easy reach to shops, pubs and breathtaking walks with waterfalls. We wanted to stay longer to enjoy both the house itself and surrounding area and we will definitely be returning! We were so spoilt it’s going to be hard to stay elsewhere now when booking similar stays in different locations!
Well done Beth and Phil on renovating this house for others to enjoy - you really couldn’t have done anything better!

Absolutely fabulous place The Oakroyd top class finishes to the property with all mod cons this is the nicest and most comfortable place myself and group of friends have ever stayed in and I do hope everyone who stays in this house respects it as much as we did.
Everything you need in the kitchen (don't think we put everything back in correct place though) fantastic bathrooms! Comfy beds you don't want to get out of and just everything was perfect! A big thanks to Beth and Phil.
BTW Beth I have just purchased 4 of the pillows you have on the beds! 😁

We stayed here for my husband birthday with our extended family. The location was perfect, with local pubs in walking distance and close to Ingleton Waterfall Trail. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Phil and Beth and their property highly enough the house was spotless with high specification throughout and well equipped with everything you needed . Will definitely be booking again - 5 star

Beautiful house renovated to an exceptional standard. 12 of us stayed at the Oakroyd visiting relatives and friends in the area.The kitchen has every utensil and appliance you could need and the beds are so comfy. I managed to secure one of the huge, en suite bedrooms but there was lots of bathrooms to go around. There's plenty of pubs, takeaways and some wonderful scenery. The waterfall walk takes up a great few hours . We will return thank you!

An immaculate and beautifully decorated property. It has lots of character and renovated to a high standard. The host is very pleasant to work with and a good communicator. It’s within striding distance of lots of walks including the water fall walk which is probably my favourite walk in the UK. There’s plenty of local shops, pubs, restaurants, a climbing wall and an outdoor swimming pool. Would definitely recommend!
