We came for lunch after waterfalls trail, as they had good prices on sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes. They were quite quick and outdoor seating was available.

The lady who runs the cafe clearly loves and cares about her business and shows pride in her pastries.
We had two teas, a sausage roll and a steak and potatoes pastry. The steak and potato pastry was 10/10.
I’d have uploaded a picture but we demolished the pastries too quickly!

This unassuming cafe is a little gem! Friendly, genuine staff, fab food with great coffee and cakes! The burgers were proper homemade, lovely meat and their coronation chicken jacket and chocolate crackle was lush! Will visit again next time we are out that way. 😊

Stopped in to grab some lunch to take away for a hike. Got a cheese and tuna salad that was absolutely lovely and very very well priced!! Salad was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time as there was so many different things included! Will defo be back!

Called in for a coffee and scone on Jubilee day when in the village.
Was not disappointed at all helpful and friendly staff and a lovely selection of cakes and snacks and a very good coffee machine.
Inside seating is very limited but outdoor seating is good with sun shades .
The village kitchen is in the main village centre and we fully intend to visit again today for lunch.

Stopped by for lunch with my wife.Had the most amazing home made steak pie accompanied with chips garden peas and gravy.From first bite to last excellent If I had thought about it I would have purchased more to take home.Will be back again.
