Rash and Sam are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. Shop is always very well stocked and you can even get a nice cold beer, not to mention the hot pasties and sausage rolls 😋
Highly recommend a visit.

What an incredible shop with lovely owners and staff. Rash pretty much has everything you need and if he doesn’t have it, he’ll get it in for you. So lucky to have such a fantastic shop which is at the heart of the Castle Acre community, oh, and did I mention you can also get a beer on tap, what more could you want.

The first time I have been to Castle Acre Budgens, Post Office & Chip shop. What a brilliant place. Rash and his family were so warm and welcoming.
Really well stocked, fish & chips and beer on tap. Perfectly positioned on Peddars Way. Well worth a visit. 11 out of 10

This shop is wonderful. Everything you could ever need including Cook meals which are so useful . The people who own it are absolutely lovely. It’s the best.

Lovely village shop, so friendly. They also have beers and Prosecco on tap! perfect if you want to come and watch cricket on the green opposite. Also, the fish and chip shop next door is best in the area! hands down.

I’ve never been to a more friendly and hospitable shop in my life. The owners were so kind and friendly and they had everything we needed. Not only that, but, if you can believe, they have a wonderful selection of beers and Prosecco ON TAP for you to sit outside and enjoy. We’re only in Castle Acre for a few days, but this has been a real highlight - much better than the local pub. Loved it 10/10 x

Great shop you can get pretty much anything here. Fresh fruit and veg, fresh bread and good quality meats and olives as well basic stock cupboard items you’d expect in a supermarket. Pocket money sweets, cards, confectionary, alcohol and soft drinks, vegetarian snack foods. Everything you’d want in a village shop and supermarket including friendly and welcoming folk behind the counter.
