Have been waiting for repairs to our generator since March - appalling communication, they completely ignore emails and never get back to you. Have just sent a final email before handing over to our lawyer to resolve. How can customer service be so poor in this day and age? It’s the Essex branch we’re dealing with. I’m a very patient & understanding person, but when something starts to affect your business and you get no response, it’s unfortunately time to resort to the legal system...

Talk about under promise and over deliver...

Having dropped off my mower for repair I was advised they were very busy and it might take a week to 10 days to investigate and fix my machine (which was honest of them). I subsequently received a call 4 days later to confirm, 'job done - mower fixed'. Customer service if often the let down of many businesses but Darren Whitehead and his colleagues at George Brown went above and beyond to impress. I will definitely go back with the mower next year for its annual service.

Spent over 20k on a Kubota mower earlier this year. Was told it would be 2-3 weeks. Took 3 months. Lent us a mower while waiting it broke the first day we used it.When the mower arrived it had the wrong wheels. Two months later they arrived. Fitter came out to fit them , they were the wrong wheels. Took another two weeks to get correct wheels. Then things got worse.Visited today to buy 1st service kit for mower (50hrs) which is nothing more than an oil and filter change. Was told that if it wasn't serviced by them the warranty would be invalid. I asked for a price for them to carry out the work? £481.00!!!!!! To pop from Dunmow to Epping and change the oil and filter. Filter is £9 the oil £29. An absolute total and utter rip off. Ask about service terms before even thinking about buying machinery from them. Called Kubota UK to share my experience...not interested. Buy John Deere from a John Deere dealer ...wish we had never changed!

Have never been able to hire from them as they are always 'fully booked' for the kit we need. It would be far better if they changed the grumpy guy on the front desk. wow. he's unhappy.
