Lovely local shop which allows dogs 🐕!! Ideal for when I'm out with my dog and I need to get a few bits before heading home. You can also collect/return parcels. Great family owned business always polite, patient and friendly. My dog loves it even more as she always get a treat from the owner 🥰

There is a older white woman who was extremely rude and unhelpful who works there and seems to be there often. I went in to print a Hermes label for a parcel below, now on the machine, it states do not rip label, but the labels were hanging out. The lady came over and scanned it for me which was nice of her, anyway the label thing didn't print afte that. I must have been waiting their for 10 mins and I clearly was asking for some help, and she just ignored me. Finally, she came over in a puff and was just very rude, her body language and tone of voice. She said, it CLEARLY states do not rip the label, so I said the label was hanging out of the machine so I didnt rip anything.

She then opened the machine and said well that's it, its broken now, you have to go somewhere else! I was like what? How can it be broken, and she said I have to call an engineer out now, you can't print it here, you have to go somewhere else. She then looked into the printer and said Oh, here it is thats your label. I then made sure it was correct and proceeding to take it up to the till for a receipt. She looked at me and said, we can't take that parcel now, as we dont do next day delivery service. I said I dont care about next day, I just need the parcel sent! She took a deep breathe and proceeded to write out my receipt, she was very rude and I could not understand it. Customers were coming in and she was overly friendly and talkative, but to me she seemed in fear about something.

I took the receipt and placed my parcel to the side and said thanks. She didn't say bye or look at me nothing. Extremely rude, and I will be making a complaint and hopefully I'll go back in there and see who the manager is. Again, I dont want the issue was but she didn't want to help me at all, she wanted me out of her shop. I wonder if my Afro hair scarred her. Isn't it sad that I wondered if it was my appearance that made her be rude dismissive and unhelpful.

I don’t often do reviews but I thought as I feel I was helped when doing an EVRI parcel lady was polite and more than helpful as I have eye problems which I did try to do myself.so want to say thank ever so much. Steve

The visual of this shop from the outside and the frontage doesn't make you want to shop there. Faded old Londis signage, disgusting looking and really dirty windows. Rude staff. Poorly stocked. Quite shocking this shop is still here under its current form, because it's not a bad area and quite wealthy. Tesco Metro or a Sainsbury's should take it over tbh. The only redeeming feature was the cat 🐈

Today I wanted to return an item of clothing that didn't fit using Evri. I had neatly packaged the item and printed out and attached the returns label on the parcel. The Evri website informed me that Powers Londis was the nearest ParcelShop and was open until 6.30pm, so I walked there in the rain and arrived at 4.30pm. Sitting half-hidden in a corner behind the counter was a middle-aged white woman. She told me in a very condescending manner that I was out of luck because I'd just missed the Evri pickup and that the next one wouldn't be for 3 days, due to the following two days being Sunday and a Bank Holiday. I then asked if I could leave the parcel there until collection, to which she brusquely replied: "No you can't, that's the whole point."

So, if the whole point is to be condescending and unhelpful towards customers, I humbly suggest that this woman is in the wrong job. By the way, I am half-Indian and it is interesting to note that other reviewers have commented that they think this woman (presumably) is racist. Having no evidence one way or the other, I shall simply assume that she had a general bad attitude towards customers, regardless of their skin colour.

By the way, the Evri website specified that the next nearest ParcelShop was the Post Office in Upper Mulgrave Road, so I then walked directly there, still in the rain. They were only too happy to take my parcel. The next time I have an Evri parcel I definitely will not be taking it to Powers Londis.

Sadly another negative review due to the horribly rude, and (having read previews reviews) racist woman that works here.

I went in to print a label for Evri/Hermes following the instructions sent to me in email and using the website which told me this was the nearest shop to me that would print my label.

I wasn’t asking them to send my parcel as it is being collected from my home, so I wasn’t “occupying space in the shop” as another review details.

When I entered the store she was happy chatting to another white, male customer. Reluctant to acknowledge me. When I did manage to speak to her she was rude and condescending. She said she cannot print the label before I even showed her anything. I then showed her the email saying I can scan an attachment to print the label and she asked me “do you believe everything you read?”. I was so taken aback and showed her the attachment. She said she can only print labels if I have a square QR code and mine was rectangular. Thing is she said no she couldn’t print anything for me even before seeing if I had a “square QR code” or not.

Having read previous reviews I can only assume she is racist as I am half Thai and look oriental.

She was so rude and condescending to me I left the store in tears.

Went in to return a damaged item from amazon using a service that Londis USE with Evri, to encounter a white, rude, old woman behind the counter, saying that I had to package the item even though amazon told me it wasn’t necessary as it was a damaged item. She was speaking to me with a rude tone of voice and was ver patronising! People like this shouldn’t be allowed to work with customers. If you’re not happy to take parcels then don’t offer that service! Looking at other reviews, I don’t think this woman was having a bad day, the only explanation for her attitude is that she’s a big, sad bi*ch.

Not to mention there was a cat in the shop on top of shelves where food was kept, not very hygienic, just to warn people that buy food from there… I certainly won’t be any time in the future.
