Stopped here for the first time as I needed milk on the way home. Was very pleased to find organic whole milk. The reason I wanted to write a review was because the 2 male staff in the shop today were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was lucky enough to park right outside. Will try to use this shop more often.

This place is truly awful. The place is cramped expensive and the few staff are less than helpful if you can find one in the first place. There is always a Q waiting to be served. Parking is extremely limited and almost impossible at peak times.

Always different staff working. Always more stacking shelves than serving which causes the car park to overfill. Also several times I've bought drinks to realise they are opened more than once. Also very poor choice of items don't we deserve a decent shop in this village?

On Sunday 10 Sept I popped in to buy 2 Classic magnums. The lady on the till went above and beyond and whizzed off to get me "a much better deal". She returned with a pack of 3 magnums for almost half the price of 2 singles. However, I stupidly declined and paid £4.80 for the singles as there were only 2 of us and I don't like wasting stuff. Mistake, as I could have given the 3rd to someone in the queue. I want to praise the cashier for being so helpful and going to such effort, a rare thing these days.

Bought some donuts from here. Opened to eat one in the car while leaving and it was rock hard. I could literally knock on it. Took them back and was told by the guy there that I wouldn't be given a refund because ‘thats how donuts go’. So I told him to keep them.

Bought a Tropicana orange juice from here, got home to find it had been opened no internal security plug and it was 3/4 full. This doesn’t surprise me as store doesn’t seem well managed. I will return and I hope they refund or replace without aggro, disgusting the staff need be vigilant

Insulting service. Waited in cold to pay for newspaper 20/3 at 8:35am. she opened the door to me, I put my newspaper on the counter and she told me there was a queue. There was no queue, only 1 man who had come around the corner after I put my paper down. She served him first. I have never been more insulted in my life. Disgusting and embarrassing. Will never shop there again unless I am desperate.
