Minimum Charge £3 on card machine and they try to rob you by charging you an additional 10% on anything below £3 if you wish to use card.

Avoid this place, go to Tesco.

Terrible Service at Shiv News Evri Drop-Off Point

I had a very frustrating experience at the Evri drop-off point in Shiv News, located at 51 High Street, CM16 4BA. I went there around 18:30 to drop off a parcel, well before their 19:00 closing time. However, the staff refused to accept my parcel (a vacuum cleaner, Henry) claiming it was "too big" and told me to come back the next morning. This is not the first time they have been rude and unhelpful.

What made no sense was their excuse about not having space to store the parcel overnight — the shop was about to close, so why wouldn’t they accept it? No other customers were coming in at that hour. My husband and I had walked 0.5 miles to drop off the parcel, only to be turned away. If they can’t handle storing parcels, maybe they shouldn’t be an Evri parcel point.

I’d recommend finding another location for parcel drop-offs if you want to avoid the hassle. Very disappointing service!

Please avoid this place. They will try to rip you off and be rude in the process. Here, the customer is never right. They get angry with your presence there. As soon as you walk through the door, you'll regret it. Walk as far as you need to, but stay away from this place.
