We recently visited Lesters Arms and had a delightful experience, even though we showed up without a reservation. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who kindly offered us a bar table since the restaurant was fully booked. The welcoming attitude of the waitress set the tone for our evening.

We decided to try the trio of meat Sunday roast, and I must say it was a fantastic choice! Each cut of meat was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, complementing the main dish beautifully. It was the kind of meal that left us feeling satisfied and content.

The atmosphere in Lesters Arms contributed to the overall experience, with a cozy and inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal, whether you're dining casually or celebrating a special occasion.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Lesters Arms to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot! We can’t wait to come back, hopefully with a reservation next time!

An amazing experience from start to finish. Lovely greeting on arrival excellent service and amazing food . Great choice on the menu. The portion sizes are perfect. Everything came out hot and with no delays. Will definitely return to try out other dishes as the Sunday Lunch was a massive hit with us all.

A warm welcome, delicious meal and great service on a cold wintery evening.

We had the Sri Lanka monk fish curry, belly pork and cream leeks which was delicious! Fresh produce, great flavors and large portions - highly recommend. We shared the mint chocolate cheesecake for dessert which perfectly rounded off a great meal.

Looking forward to visiting again.

A pub that looks completely newly renovated. Very smart inside and all tastefully done including the toilets!
Had standard pub grub ..fish n chips which was of a very high quality. Beer was Wye valley Butty Bach...very nice pint. All in all a good find ...
Pub also has lots of outdoor seating for those sunny days..

Great meal enjoyed by all the family. My Wife, our 3 young children and I all love a good Sunday Roast and we enjoyed a fabulous roast dinner at The Lesters Arms today.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile. Introduction and drinks order was very swift and pleasant. Food order expertly taken.

Adult roasts and children’s were all 11/10. Hot, fresh & tasty…

The best bit - they offer a cheese board for pudding…!!! My personal favourite and a choice that is hard to find nowadays..

5 very happy people and 5 stars to all at Lesters. Keep up the good work guys….!!

Booked a table here on Easter Sunday
Service was extremely slow and was told that a young man would be taking care of us during our meal but that wasn’t the case and was left for long periods of time between each meal . We was in the upstairs restaurant which was extremely cramped .
Had the Sunday roast , 2 turkey, 2 beef and 1 pork. Turkey was quite dry , vegetables were lovely, my daughter enjoyed the beef but my daughter was violently sick early hours of the morning which could only be the pork as she didn’t have anything else that day .
Ordered 2 desserts which again was a wait
The bill came and was charged 20% tax on top of our bill . Very disappointed ☹️
Will not be Returning!
