No problems here. Paid my £2 at the machine before heading back to my car. Can’t understand all the reviews saying they got fined. You cannot move for all the signs telling you it’s 2 hours max.

Paid £2 on EXIT from the MULTI STOREY CAR PARK after parking IN the MULTI STOREY CAR PARK not the SURFACE LEVEL. It didnt allow me to pay more than £2 and I couldnt adjust it to pay more, SO I paid £2 as it said.

Got a fine of £54 pounds, appealed it and it was rejected on the grounds I parked in the SURFACE LEVEL..... I DIDN'T.

DO NOT PARK HERE. They don't care about your appeal documents such as bank statement.

As mentioned by others the signs are confusing and I £2 on arrival to realise that I had paid for the 3 mins I'd been there and have to pay another £2 to extend to the 2h max. This was not clear enough and I believe is intentionally misleading. I rung up to clarify and they said to pay before leaving which we did in the end. Would never go here again and will shop elsewhere.

AVOID USING THIS CAR PARK. THE COMPANY IS USING FAULTY CAMERA EQUIPMENT RESULTING IN FINES AND THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR MISTAKE. I parked in the multistorey car park as I was intending to stay for over 6 hours. I paid for my ticket on the first floor machine and it charged me £2.00. I didn't pay attention to this as I assumed that their cameras etc were correct. I have a PCN now telling me I overstayed in the surface car park. Have appealed against this but lost as they say that my car was on the surface car park....which it was not. Since then on 4 other occasions the same thing happens. I park in the multistorey car park but when paying the machine charges me £2 instead of £5. I've called their customer service everything and told them and they change the charge from £2 to £5. I informed that their camera is not correctly recognising my car as I drive to the multistorey car park. They've refused to accept this. I also have a witness to their mistake. DON'T USE THIS CAR PARK..THEY INCORRECTLY FINE YOU. NEXUS ARE THIEVES.

Hello, don't go to their parking lot anymore, they are rude if you exceed 2 hours, they send a fine, I was there on January 18 this year and after almost 4 months they sent a fine of 160 pounds, I will sue the company, it doesn't seem fair to me towards the customers, so don't go there anymore, they are thieves

Sadly like almost everyone who visits this carpark we ended up with a negative experience. My wife has a spinal cord injury and is nearly blind due to her type of Alzheimer's so even being a Blue badge holder and parking in a blue bay (which had no signage indicating we had to pay in these bays) we to ended up with our £54 fine. So we to will be shopping else where in the future.

I also got conned out of 54GBP when parking last month to watch a film at the Vue cinema in Basildon town centre. Its not clear that when parking in the surface car park, you can only stay there a max of 2 hours. There are very few attractions to Basildon, and ripping off people with these very unfair fines, will attract even less people. I will never set foot in Basildon again, I will only ever go to Lakeside in future, where the parking is free, the shops are better, and also have a Vue Cinema. Basildon Council if you ever read this review, you need to intervene and think of ways to attract shoppers, not repel them.

So we parked here for just over 2 hours and then a few weeks I later received a PCN for £54. It’s a disgrace the signage is very poor and not clear. This is even after I paid at the machine on the way out where there was no mention I had overstayed. The council need to get a grip of this, no wonder Basildon town centre is so deprived and deserted.
