Sadly yet another company that has no customer service to speak of. My parcel was scheduled to be delivered on a Tuesday between 12.30 and 14.30. So making sure I was in between this time with a bit to spare at 15.30 I thought I’d better check the tracker to see where the parcel was. To my amazement it was listed as a ‘missed delivery’ because I wasn’t home and would be delivered the following day. Got another delivery slot and this time between my wife and I one of us was in all day. Again the delivery slot passed without a delivery and if I hadn’t checked I would never have known that it was listed as ‘more information about the delivery address required’ tried to do this by phoning them but you can gets past a robot and was referred to chat where I was told the driver couldn’t find the address. Amazing as I’ve lived here 5 years and never had a problem. I was told to download the app and enter my address and the ‘My 3 Words’ version of my address. I duly did this and the following the day the same message was on the app. Tried calling, had a brief chat with the robot then back to chat which wasn’t working. In the end I drive to the depot to collect the parcel myself. Yodel, you need to take a long hard look at yourself

I wouldn’t even rate them this one start.
Pathetic delivery company.
Apparently they attempted to deliver 3 times
All three times I was home and tracking them via the link sent, I save massive windows so I can see who is coming and going the van did not even turn up to my address once.

For a £80 order I’m having to travel a 4 hour public transport journey there and back or then take a £30 taxi to get there. That makes no sense.

This delivery service doesn’t liaise with retail companies so they’re unaware of their packages being delivered by these drivers or not, hence why the actual retail company is confused as to why I haven’t received it which was meant to be days ago.
Therefore I am still ÂŁ80 down.
No one to contact within the Yodel deport to see if my package is still there.
And no refund.

This is very very frustrating. Avoid using this delivery service at all cost.

If I could give Yodel Basildon Depot Centre one star, I would jump at the opportunity. My order was incorrectly sent to them - fine, but instead of acting with some level of urgency to quickly rectify the situation, they’ve held onto a parcel that was marked next day delivery for 4-5 days. It’s pathetic. They’re in dire need of a change of management and organisation with immediate effect.

I dislike dishonesty - if you can't deliver the goods, just say that! Rather than "you weren't in" or "we need more info" or ""we left a card". If you can't be bothered to go to the edges of Essex, just tell me as the eBay seller at the time of booking so I can choose a different, reliable, honest service. DHL is great!!!!, DPD is Great!!!! It can't be all down to the individual drivers, it must be institutional at Basildon depot. One star is too good!!!

If there was 0 star, i would choose that. Such disappointing and frustrating having no updates or information of the whereabouts of your parcels. 4 disappointing deliveries in 6 months. Had to return a delivery because it was outdated over a month.
One time, had to go to the service centre only to be told my parcel was missing. And will be updated, got a call the following day to come all the way back to the service centre despite me explaining to them it was impossible for me to make that 30 mile journey again.
Twice, they couldn’t access my address and I redirected to a Yodel store nearby which is active in business. To my utter disappointment, there have been several failed attempts to deliver and it’s been weeks and do not know why. I reached out to the their live chats only to be given vain promises it was being handled!!!!

The worst service in the Universe.

If you are here for your parcel just go back to your retailer and cancel your order and reoder and tell the seller to send it with other courier services that's the best option trust me no matter whatever you try with yodel to get your parcel you'll never get it.

To everyone coming here just tell your retailer to never ever use Yodel Again in the whole life.

they have my package since 12/02 no updates, no regard to notes left via app, zero chance to call the customer service or get the chat on with any real human. it’s been a week!!!! no option to redirect to a shop that’s 200 m from my house. they didn’t even try second delivery. they lied about leaving info card. this company is a joke and i recommend you to avoid using it!!!!

Booked annual leave to ensure I would be able to take delivery of a tiny little Marshall speaker ! Yodel made me aware that my parcel would arrive between 1-4 pm. Perhaps I was taking the longest and loudest piss ever or the driver was unable to ring the doorbell, knock on the door or call my phone.... To be surprise I received an email stating that my parcel was unable to be delivered. Around 2-3 seconds after this I scanned the road road for a Yodel van but there was nothing in sight. Blimey, these dudes are rapid !

They were in able to deliver my parcel for a circa of 5 days which is hard to believe giving how fast their vans are. So, I elected to pick up the item myself from the local depot that was around 20 miles away.

The dude at the depot deserves a medal for sticking to company process and not giving me the parcel without photo ID. I provided him with all manner of proof such as order confirmation emails etc.... but he wanted the note that Michael Schumacher left at the door (this was never posted) or photo ID. I didn't have photo ID so quickly distracted him, grabbed my parcel and calmly left the depot whilst praising the member of staff for his commitment to following company policy. His colleagues attempted to take the parcel from me but were unsuccessful.

All in all I am happy that I can listen to the new Linkin Park album on this little beast of a speaker over the Xmas period and yodel gave me enough material for this comedic but yet accurate review. #heavyisthecrown
