Ordered a Victoria Sponge cake in advance for a birthday celebration, picked it up the day before and received great service from the staff and owner advising me how to store and prep the cake on the day. Also some ideas on how to use the spare edible flowers such as freezing them within ice cubes to make a fancy cocktail.

Most importantly the cake looked amazing and tasted just as good as it looked!

Would 100% recommend supporting this local business and will be returning myself.

Went to Victoria Yum during a day trip. I heard about this place on social media and I was curious. The staff welcomed me so nicely and the cinnamon swirl i had was amazing. I tried beetroot latte (was the first time for me) and I was impressed! I will come back again next time I will be in Colchester 🩷

I ordered 6 blueberry and 6 raspberry cupcakes for a baby shower I was hosting, and they were an absolute hit. Everyone loved them, they not only looked beautiful but also tasted amazing. Ordering process online was easy, the pickup and packaging organisation was great. 100% recommend.

My favourite cafe to visit in Colchester! The owner is so lovely and so are the staff. Great service and fantastic food/drink options. Don’t get this quality anywhere else.

I have also pre-ordered cakes for birthdays and will never go anywhere else while I’m still living here!

My favourite favourite bakery! The cakes are as gorgeous as they are yummy. I'm grateful for coming across Victoria yum in January and I've been in here at least once a week if not more!!
The brunch menu is great and the new breakfast bap is a must try. I have also finally found the perfect textured scones here!
Please do try Victoria Yum and no other place will ever be good enough after your experience 🙂

I initially was strolling around aimlessly in Hackney to find some breakfast place. I was so sure I died and went to heaven when I entered this cake shop. The best thing is that the cakes even taste as good as they look! The sponge is absolutely perfect - great texture and moist. That day I had cake for breakfast and I have no regrets.

Everything about this place is gorgeous. From the decors outside and more so when you go inside. Not just that, they serve the best cakes and cupcakes in Colchester. Victoria yum has a signature style and taste that keeps me and my family coming back for more. Everyone here is also so friendly and so nice. It makes you feel like you are having tea and cake at the comfort of your home. Glad to have Victoria Yum here in Colchester ❤️
