This lovely shop offers an incredible lunch deal of £6 for a phenomenal baguette, a high-quality yoghurt and equally high-quality drink – cold or hot. Every one of the ladies is always unbelievably helpful, friendly and welcoming. I find it a pleasant, peaceful place to enjoy my lunch, which I would say is the best value in town as well as delicious!
I have not yet ordered a cake but from what I have observed of the beautiful and intricate creations and the very helpful people, I would not hesitate to place an order there when a special occasion arises.

Our wedding cake was amazing! I was blown away when I saw it. We loved the little figurines that looked like us. The flavour was delicious and it was so well made! Exactly what I asked for but tasted even better. Just waiting for my anniversary so I can make it an annual tradition to have another cake make

Went in there to get a custom messege for my friends graduation. They were able to do it in less than 10 minutes and at a reasonable price. The cake designs are true work of art and would love to order a cake in the future again!

The Cake Shop Oxford made the cake for our wedding back in June 2022 and it was absolutely perfect! We knew the taste would be incredible as we've been eating their products for years (mostly the bags of cake off-cuts they do from when we were poor students!), and we were not disappointed - we had four tiers with different flavours for each! They worked with us to create an incredibly personalised and extremely detailed design, right down to the bride and groom figures on top (they got us to send through pictures of our actual outfits for the wedding so that they could replicate these and so many of our guests commented on how special this was!). After the wedding I was able to preserve a few of the sugar paste decorations from the cake (see picture below) as they were too beautiful to not keep, and we now have them as a very special memory. Price-wise, I also found them to be very good value compared to other quotes I received.

Thank you so much again - we still have two slices in our freezer that we're saving for a special occasion!

The Cake Shop did an amazing job for my son’s birthday!! He was in Oxford for school and I was sad to not be there. The Cake Shop allowed me to order the cake via email, pay for it via a link (as I am in the States), and then made a note that my son’s teacher would be picking it up. Such a smooth process! My son said his Red Velvet cake was amazing! All the other students loved it as well. Thank you Cake Shop for making my son’s birthday special with such an amazing cake!

We had a cake made for my Son's Birthday and took along 4 images of a hot rod car from his favourite TV show.
The detail on the cake is amazing and made quite an impression on the night with many asking where it was made and photos being taken.
Would recommend this shop if you're looking for something a little more unique.

The cakes from here are exceptionally good. They create different designs throughout the year and will create - on site and in front of customers - pretty much any design you need. Both my partner and myself enjoy having there cakes for celebrations and would reccomend to anyone and everyone
