If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I was in Witney for the week and had to come here multiple times! The food is amazing and the staff are extremely lovely and very chatty, which makes the environment inside so welcoming and friendly. The desserts were so lush! The drink selection is really good too, there’s a lot of interesting and different cocktails such as the Cherry Bakewell which I thought was really nice. My favourite was the Banana rum and coke, that was so good! I loved this pub, I can't wait to return when I'm next in the area! Thank you so much!

Decent selection of drinks and food . Great music choices (must be the bar man) as other green kings don’t cut it .
Yes there is other places but the service here is outstanding and most sports are shown live .
Go for mustard chipolatas chunky chips and sticky chicken bites get ya self a Peroni no wooly woven blankets included

An absolutely wonderful venue in the heart of Witney, the staff are friendly and greet all that come in with open arms and warm smiles. An absolutely wonderful selection of hand pump ales and ciders, an impressive collection of high quality spirits and mixers with a beautiful and well designed interior lay out to make a cozy and welcoming pub.
10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone thats going past

I have visited this place on many occasions, the food is great and I can confidently say the staff are absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is always vibrant and welcoming.

The managers are always so lovely and chatty, and they seem genuinely interested in engaging with customers - plus the music is always great!

I highly recommend this spot, it’s a standout for great service, a friendly vibe, and fantastic tunes!

We ordered the "award winning" ale and steak pie and the fish and chips. Not particularly good, not particularly bad - decent value for money. The ambience was a bit hit and miss: pop R&B interleaved with Christmas songs? You might find better options around.

Served by Nick and Ali. Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We basically spent our whole day in there! We had a light lunch. I had a gluten free grilled cheese sandwich. We also had nachos, favourites sharer, Philly cheese steak sandwich. Some of us nipped for a quick film up the road, the rest propped up the bar whilst being very well entertained by fantastic locals and great staff building a fabulous atmosphere. We ended up staying for dinner too! Though my option of half roast chicken wasn’t available, Nick found a way to make it work for me and I got exactly what I wanted with no problems. Portions were great sizes and we found some room for some sharing puddings. Thank you thank you thank you! Next time we’re this way, we will be returning.
