We booked 2 rooms and the apartment here for my family over a wedding weekend. This is the best B&B that the family have ever stayed in, with every comfort and a fantastic welcome. Val and Lester went out of their way to make sure that everyone had everything they needed, staying up late to welcome late arrivals and catering for several special dietary requirements. The apartment is large with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and large, comfortable and very well equipped kitchen. It really couldn't have been any better. Breakfast is in front of an open fire in what I'd describe as a banqueting hall.

A lovely place to stay. We had a very comfortable visit. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Apartment is very clean and tidy, kitted out with everything you might need and has a very pretty outdoor space available to use. Fantastic location in Wirksworth which is a great little town with lots to see and do within it or very nearby.

We've just come back from a great 3 night stay in the self-catering apartment, which is also run by Val (who owns The George B&B attached!)||||It has 2 lovely bedrooms and a very well equipped open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge( with dishwasher and washing machine)||||Plenty of walking books and things to do in the area. Wirksworth is a great location to explore the Peak District!||||A lovely basket of goodies were there to greet us too and Val was great!||||Thank you for a super stay!||||

We booked two double rooms in Val and Lester's stunning George House, for ourselves and friends.||The welcome was amazing, as we were shown around this elegant yet exceptionally comfortable former pub.||Each room was comfortable and pretty, with a stylish shared bathroom, and a huge yet cosy guests' lounge with open fire, squishy sofas, and complimentary decanter!||Breakfast was serious cuisine, served by Val, who made everything about our stay welcoming and fun.
