I've been going to Croots for many years now but not been recently so popped along this morning. All there stuff is so tasty. Friendly staff. Their award winning sausages are really good in a toad in the hole. So much lovely stuff in their deli section.
Highly recommended

Also its a unique shopping experience often having to wait for sheep to move off the road on your drive up to the farm shop, you don't get that at your supermarket LOL.

What wonderful staff! We came
for Mother’s Day lunch, which was delicious, and the staff were very attentive. During our visit, we realised we had locked our keys in the car. Whilst a family member had to return home to collect the spare keys, we waited outside, which was very windy. A very kind, lovely team member brought out a blanket for my elderly mum and a hot tea to keep us warm whilst we waited for their return. Thank you to the lovely lady who looked after us in afternoon, we didn’t get to say thank you as they were closed, but we really appreciated your kind gesture. We were very well cared for all afternoon by everybody , so thank you very much! We will be back to enjoy another Sunday Roast.

Awesome farm shop and cafe. The food was lovely and tasty. I was the first one to try their strawberry milkshake, which was deliciously refreshing. The lady serving the meats in the butchers was really friendly. The horses in the farm are so friendly and warm. Great place with great views.

I did a butchery masterclass with butchery manager Justin and his colleague yesterday.
A fantastic experience delivered in a professional yet friendly manner which thankfully catered for an absolute novice.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Thanks again to all involved in making my 50th so memorable, much appreciated.
With Justin at the helm it's hardly surprising that Croots has the best butchery in the area 👌🏻

I've passed this farm shop/cafe many times and I visited today for the first time. Produce in the shop is outstanding and good value. The cafe is a little small and booking could be essential at times. Food is excellent but a little expensive, but what the heck every now and then. Hot food is only cooked till 2pm but scones and cakes can be bought after this time. Large car park, toilets and friendly staff. On busy days the driveway could get a little crowded as it's one way with lay-bys. The views from the cafe inside and outside are fantastic. Enjoy your visit

Lovely Farm, Shop & Café… I was met by a member of the team who explained it was table service, which was lovely to hear! As I didn’t expect it.

The service was excellent and had a nice chat with the girl that served me, so keep up the good work! I traveled about an hour but want somewhere calm and peaceful, which was perfect! Highly recommend 😍

Ps the horses could also bite! there are warning signs in place...but generally they are friendly.

Great farm shop with a lovely tea room... we enjoyed a delicious lunch here with a superb view, and bought some delicious cake from the shop.
The tea room would benefit from a makeover it is not particularly attractive more functional
Great friendly staff
