As soon as we walked in we knew that Haarlem was the perfect Venue for us. The building itself is beautiful and the layout works so well for a wedding held in one place. The bridal suite provides a perfect place for getting ready but also for a quiet place to gather yourself on the day. The food was incredible, the best food I have ever had at a wedding, and was so inclusive of everyone’s needs.

Shannon was absolutely incredible from the start, always there to answer any questions and to make the process as smooth as possible . I can honestly say that I have had no stress from the day we booked the wedding up until the day itself.

We got married in December 2024 and our day was so beyond magical. It exceeded anything either of us could have ever hoped for and we will forever grateful to the team at Haarlem for helping us achieve the day of our dreams.

As soon as we walked in to Haarlem Mill we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The aesthetic is just absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredible. Shannon made planning our wedding super easy and orderly. We used Haarlem for our reception, the staff were excellent meeting us at the door with drinks and canapés. The food was to die for, absolutely incredible. The food and drinks are all locally sourced which is such a nice touch and something we really appreciated. Thank you guys so much for making our day super special and for utilising such a beautiful building, so simple but effective. Thank you guys so much.

We got married at Haarlem Mill in August 2024. It was the fourth venue that we viewed and we knew as soon as we walked in that it was for us!
The decor is a mixture of rustic and modern and the venue is already dressed to such a beautiful standard that very little extra decoration needed adding on our wedding day. All the added extras such as festoon lighting and foliage in the ceiling ladders are included in your the hire price (which is already super reasonable!) along with the so much more decor the team offer to you when setting up for your day.
We were worried about picking a venue that would pressure us for decisions and need to be in constant contact & Haarlem Mill really is the opposite of that. Shannon is the friendliest and most knowledgeable wedding co ordinator who was able to offer us help advice whenever we needed it. She ensured the year planning our day was stress free, and organised a lovely evening where we could taste potential menu options.
A separate ceremony room & reception room was important to us and Haarlem Mill offered us this along with a lovely bar area outdoor terrace which we were able to take advantage of on our day!
There is an extensive list of food to choose from and the catering team are very flexible so let you pick from different menus, plus will try to accommodate any extras you wish to add into your menu. The food & drink on our day were both fabulous!

After viewing a few wedding venues we chose Haarlem Mill because we loved the industrial mill itself, it was great value for money and Shannon was so helpful. The venue on the day of our wedding looked perfect and we were able to include everything we wanted to, like our dog which was really important to us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food and Shannon. We can’t thank Shannon enough for all the help from our first meeting to the wedding day and even after. She made the day flow so well and couldn’t do enough for us, it took all the stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the day. We couldn’t recommend Haarlem enough to any couples looking to book their special day.

When we viewed Haarlem Mill, we loved the brick walls and beams. The building has been tastefully restored to a level where you really don’t need to decorate the space!

The courtyard is a great area that we were able to use for some outdoor games and group photos when the sun finally came out, but the inside areas are so large that the rain showers didn’t affect any plans.

We appreciated the all-inclusive cost, there were no hidden charges for the beautiful tables and chairs or lanterns down the aisle.

The food was outstanding and everyone has commented that it was the best catering they’ve experienced at an event, from the chosen canapes, to the wedding breakfast, to our evening burritos!

It was important to us that all our guests ate the same dish, and the catering team accommodated a large range of dietary requirements to produce one quality menu.

The Haarlem team are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our day flowed seamlessly thanks to Shannon, and she made sure everything was exactly how we’d planned it.

We had a truly wonderful day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Haarlem to anyone.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful Haarlem Mill is. It was the perfect blend of stylish and cosy, with its dramatic industrial backdrop and modern touches that suited our tastes perfectly. It has every room you’d want for a wedding all in one location, and as we got married in February, having plenty of space indoors for guests was hugely beneficial.

The quality of the mill is only matched by its incredible staff. Shannon (the wedding coordinator) was invaluable throughout the planning stages: she addressed every question we had leading up to the event, providing advice, reassurance, and support whenever we needed her. On the day, she was exceptional; we were told weddings were stressful, but thanks to Shannon we didn’t feel any of it. No matter when we needed her, or what we needed her for, Shannon was there to support us and we cannot thank her enough.

The catering was also wonderful. They went above and beyond for all dietary requirements and made sure that every single guest had food which was delicious, beautiful, and memorable. We were so impressed with the quality and wish we could eat there each week.

We recently got married at Haarlem Mill and it was the most incredible day. Everything from the initial queries and questions to booking and preparations ran so smoothly and was made easy by Shannon and the amazing team. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. We chose Haarlem Mill as our wedding venue as we have a family background in Derbyshire and loved the industrial style. From start to finish, Shannon made you feel like you were the
only ones getting married and that was important to us: we weren’t just another couple. We fell in love with the place and liked the transparency of cost. There were no hidden extras for fairy lights, use of rooms, coffee etc. The quoted price was the price we paid and it was very reasonable for the service, space and catering. As we married in November, we wanted a venue that could host indoors but also had a small outdoor area just in case the weather decided to hold off. We were able to have our confetti line and sparklers outside and made use of both floors, both bars and the ‘getting ready room’. Shannon took time and care with us and helped to make our day as unique as possible. The food was incredible! We had canapés, a three-course meal, coffee and tea and evening pizzas and it was all delicious, local food and drink. It was amazing that even our guests who were vegetarian, vegan, coeliac or had a food allergy/intolerance were still treated to food just as tasty as the standard. And when we say standard, we mean top-tier standard - we cannot recommend
the pie enough! Our guests raved about our venue, the food and the general warm atmosphere and we couldn’t agree more. Shannon also worked extremely well with all of our vendors to ensure we got the most from our big day. Thank you Shannon and thank you to all of the Haarlem Mill team.
