My friend & I visited Homebase in Loudwater to be greeted by the pain mixer, himself! As he overheard our conversation & the dilemma we were in. We spent sooo much time in the store before he came across him, and then to be given THE BEST ADVICE AND COLOUR to help us. We subsequently used the advice and tester he suggested and it WORKED PERFECTLY. We are sorry we didn't take his name, but when we next visit, I'll make sure I'll get it ! He was unbelievably helpful, to a point that you really appreciate it in these times. I thank you Mr Paint Mixer, for showing us reflect & space paint. It actually does work & it does do what it says on the tin! you know who you are, we know who you are. Even though your boss was behind you, itching to tell you he was probably going to lunch, but he heard you and you almost gave him a sign of 'give me 5 mins & I'll be with you'. Service, kindness and advice is outstanding. Thank you ?

I never knew this store was here even though I've lived locally for years! The store was clean and well maintained. It's very easy to find what you want. Lots of free parking is available and there's lot's of people to offer advice if needed.

Visited lunchtime on Mon 29th July. I wanted two gaslight refills but there was no one on Customer Services. Instead the lady on the checkout finished serving another customer and called me over. She had already requested the refills from a colleague and by the time I had paid the refills were delivered to the checkout. In and out in a couple of minutes, absolutely fantastic service.

Convenient store with good parking and nice staff. The shelves were very empty though, especially the fixtures and fittings rows. The layout seemed to be a bit disorganised aswell.

Good store, dogs welcome but staff time tricky. They’ve done away with the public Lois too to incorporate Tapi carpets who frankly aren’t worth the space.

We have been coming to the store for a few years. Sadly today we were very disappointed with the the service. We came to purchase a barbecue…. What a horrendous event! We asked a staff member to assist, we were handled with disrespect and told to rather order online which was so unhelpful as we cannot wait 5 days for the delivery. Very unhelpful ?
