The majority of the store was very tidy and there were lots of inspirational displays. It did look as if the store was too big for the variety and volume of stock they had, as there were lots of areas that had duplicate products, a great example of this were the 15+ pallets of very similar plastic storage boxes that were out. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future they had another business or two inside.
The best area of the store was the garden centre, all of the plants looked amazing and were well looked after, the BBQ and furniture displays looked great too.
The limited customer service I experienced was good, everyone I interacted with was friendly and polite.

This home base is on a retail park area. The sat nav doesn't always take you to it, so look for the massive building, you can't miss it from the road.
Plenty of parking.
It's a large homebase, very spacious with a great selection.
It's really easy to find stuff.
Many bargains to be found, and a few discontinued lines.
Currently a large outdoor furniture selection at reasonable prices.
Outside garden and plant area too.
I love this store and its definitely worth a visit if you're a homebase fan.

Is it good idea using the empty spaces around Milton Keynes train station but further away then shown on map. So allow yourself 30 minutes to get back to station are pre-book a taxi from parking spot.

Gee Gee

Be wary of collecting DPD parcels from this store, staff don’t listen to customers. Ignore shipping warning labels I.e ‘this way up’ and ‘glass handle with care’. Then try and dismiss any form of responsibility by saying we are only a pick up point.

I had 2 QR codes for collection, one stated 2 parcels and the other 1 parcel. They didn’t understand why I was asking if there were 3 parcels for me to collect.

I'm a amateur gardener with all the gear and no idea. But thanks to the staff in the plants department at Milton Keynes I'm getting better. Great customer service and always with a smile. They are freindly, approachable and happy to help. Highly recommended. Thank you

Went in to look for a new shower. No staff were available to help. We asked a couple of guys fill shelves in another section to be told they didn't know who was serving so we left
