Pros:

The staff and service are great. There are fantastic things such as an indoor pool. The Village Pub & Grill is also great. Breakfast is good. The location is easy to get to, it is close to Bristol Parkway station.

Cons:

It can be noisy from the gym or outside. The rooms are small and dark. There aren't many extra things in the rooms. The rooms are not always cleaned well. Bathroom could be better, especially shower. The restaurant can be noisy and the temperature isn't always right. There aren't many vegetarian food choices. Finally, you have to pay for parking.

Very disappointed with our 2-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were dusty and clearly not properly cleaned. After a sleepless first night, we politely requested that the rooms be cleaned and the bed sheets changed. When we returned that evening, nothing had been done—not even a simple tidy-up.

We raised the issue with the night staff and asked to be moved to different rooms, but were told there were no rooms available. We had to endure a second uncomfortable night. The next morning, we spoke to the manager who offered only a brief apology and no real solution. Eventually, they promised a 15% discount on one of the rooms and gave us an email to follow up. We emailed as instructed after our stay, but never received a reply. It felt like they just told us what we wanted to hear to get rid of us.

Poor service, poor cleanliness, and broken promises. We would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Hotel is very tidy and always welcoming. Food is good too and always showing lots of sport which is ideal. Mainly use the gym, lots of equipment, tons of classes and everyone is always friendly. Becky the manager is always full of energy and a smiling face when you come in to the gym making it a welcoming environment! Great gym and people. Great village hotel!

We arrived on a bank Holiday Monday and was treated by a young lad on the reception desk. He assisted with our check-in and took interest as to why we were staying.||We checked into room 256, and the room was clean, and the bedding and pillows were comfortable. We had a club room and were treated to some coffee pods, branded village water bottle, and a pack of village jelly babies - lush.||Visited the pool, and the pool and changing areas were well maintained. Afterwards we visited the pub where they were showing a sports game. The food and service were excellent.||Did not have breakfast due to an early morning flight. Well done, team Bristol.

Love the hotel. Service is always good. Becky who runs the gym is always putting on special events. Starbucks staff are super friendly too. It’s a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Always has parking available. Rooms are comfortable. Food is good. Seasonal events are great and well priced. Especially enjoy the family Christmas disco and lunch, though they didn’t run it last year. Please bring it back!

All in all a lovely hotel , spotless and clean and modern and good brilliant swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Did not use the gym but again looked top quality . Friendly staff, comfortable although slightly small rooms even club rooms but would not put me off . A little pricey in the bar for food and drink. Also a little cheeky that £1 is charged to your card on check in that you don’t get back. Never been charged to check into a hotel before , I know you have to provide cards for insurance but you usually get any charge back on checkout even if it is only £1! Ultimately, I would definitely stay here again , thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The gym here is there best in Bristol. The facilities are such great value for money and is kept beautifully by the team particularly Jo. Everyone makes an effort to make you feel welcome and get to know you. Becky Palmer runs an AMAZING group exercise timetable and is always happy to help and answer questions about the different classes. I can’t recommend this gym more!
