This is another one of the National Trust amazing places,the reception,shop and cafe is set in a magnificent building,the shop itself is full of lovely gifts and good quality merchandise and well laid out for you to have a good look around.This whole place is wonderful to look around,there is so much to see and do as it is set in several acres of the beautiful Devon countryside.👍

David gave us an informative introduction to the house in winter. It was just the right length.
It was interesting to see the conservation work being undertaken.
After a walk in the garden, shortened by the rain, we enjoyed lunch in the cafe.
All the staff and volunteers were knowledgable and helpful.

When my parents decided to join the National Trust living immediately adjacent to them. The invitation was often forthcoming for me for all my efforts on the property and on many occasions due to it being in proximity close by in the county of Devon, England. The views of the interior of the house. My recollection is of having the opportunity once to walk through with my mum and dad but not looking up and visually the ceiling artwork. My thoughts at that age would have been keeping in step all the time until getting back into their private car. There are seasonal activities and promotions all year. My love for them and the vegetable garden's close similarities to Abboshideaway, Abbots field, Wiveliscombe and I end through the back gate looking for "blue bells" as we did in Finchamstead ridges, Berkshire. When as a child things were touch and go with croup. Their word's "Remember we always loved you".

Excellent gift shop in a wonderful setting adjacent to the Stables Cafe, selling an array of top quality products from clothing accessories, books, childrens toys & gifts, kitchen products, ornaments for the home plus much more. The staff were friendly & welcoming on our visit and whilst most items can be expensive they are top quality, which which are to be seen to be fully appreciated. Recommended to call in at whilst visiting Knighthayes Court.

Good selection of chinaware, woollen rugs, toys and games as well as Christmas decorations. Super cafe with the usual delicious NT scones and cakes. Well worth a visit especially this weekend as the craft fayre is on until Sunday.

Great selection of gifts and the usual National Trust items and a very considerable range of plants. There is also a walled vegetable garden that sells stuff from their greenhouses and plots.

Expensive but some good stuff in here actually. Gf got a nice scarf and a bonnet hat, I got some unusual (very tasty) passion fruit and another sour cherry curd.
