Popped over for lunch , great garden space. Ordered ploughman’s , was ok. For me I’d prefer some crusty bread n butter with it rather than slightly greasy garlic bread. Chutney delicious. Missed a traditional pickled onion.
The next evening friend and I popped over for drink and hope of food. Fully expected dining to be booked but had hoped more than just a burger would be on offer in the garden. Where are your pizza offering. Time for outside menu.

It was very good! We went to have supper at the restaurant, and everything was delicious. Especially the spring risotto, the apple crumble, and the rhubarb sponge. Thank you for the great experience!

PS: the staff was very nice and attentive as well.

We visited West Wittering Beach for a day trip with our dog, booked a table for Sunday roast at The Wittering as it was our wedding anniversary. Very attentive lovely staff, food was delicious & they provided a water bowel for our dog. Would certainly eat here again & would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

This review is for the restaurant, food was incredible probably one of the best beef burgers I had and the broccoli starter were also so different and full of flavour!

We celebrated our son’s christening at The Wittering last week in a lovely private area on the side of the main pub. We were blown away by the way the team (Sam especially) kept us up to date with the preparations and when it came to the day they allowed us to decorate to make the area even more special. The food was excellent and the waiters were incredibly attentive, nothing was too much to ask. Everyone left saying what a great place The Wittering is, we will all be back and it’s at the top of the list for our next celebration. Thanks to you and the team Sam for making it a great day.

Such a beautiful place! Amazing food as well!

This is a special Pub. You can really tell they care about the products they use. The quality of the ingredients is superb and I’m sure they are locally sourced.

The burger was amazing, chips were just perfection and the sticky toffee pudding… best I’ve had in my life!

They also have a beautiful bear garden with little huts with good heating.

If you are in the area i really really recommend a visit to this pub.

Only visited for a drink so can't comment on the food or rooms as the kitchen was also closed when we were there. But, the bar has a lovely cosy vibe and service was friendly and quick. West Wittering has beautiful beaches close by so a great stop after a walk.

We all had a fabulous time celebrating my friends birthday in The Wittering.
I'm sorry I can't remember the bar man's name (but he looks like Kaleb) was brilliant. He was rushed off his feet but remained unflustered, friendly and made sure everyone got the drinks they wanted. Thank you
