I ordered a regular Haddock & chips with baked beans to eat at the sit in facility within the chip shop. The food was very good, the fish particularly. The dining area was not overcrowded (I imaging it to be very popular at peak times) but workmen were working in the dining area at the time which was a very noisy experience, that should have taken place outside of service opening hence my two stars for atmosphere.

First thing you notice is the friendly staff! All very chat and helpful. The food is good and the portions are generous, to top it off it’s all very well priced. Atmosphere is nothing special but that’s what I would expect from a takeaway

Gluten free fish and chips, but fried in the same oil. Also, dog friendly.
Very nice fish and chips. Kids was well served size wise.

Dishonest so will not be back, which is a shame as the portions are pretty good. I asked for a small fish and chips. On the menu both Cod and Haddock are £5.70. Chips are £2.50. This comes to £8.20 but was charged £8.60. They then had the cheek to ask for an extra 50p for ketchup which would have been fine if they hadn't just overcharged me!

We asked for large haddock with chips and curry twice in the seating area.
It was less than 10 minutes, fast, tasted really good, fresh. Also latte and bottle of coca cola. This cost just over £20 which represents excellent value. Thank you very much.
Very friendly staff.
Clean toilet facilities.
Came back two weeks later for dinner 7pm to 8pm.
Ordered large haddock, chips and peas, plus large haddock, chips and curry. Plus 500ml coke bottle and a cappuccino. Cost £22.75
Arrived within 5 minutes or so this time. Really hot and tasted fresh.
Very pleased once again. Knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed.

Came here on a school trip, we all ordered a lot of food and the staff were kind despite all the stress. It was very cheap for the food you're getting and it was very nice, so it is great value. Probably the best chippy I've had in a while. 🙂
