It's laughable, it really is...
The entertainment complex is a restaurant with a stage.. It can fit about 50 people max and if you don't get there early you have no chance of getting a seat. The staff was friendly but so unprofessional it's awful... The singer couldn't sing (how she gets paid for that performance is beyond me), the DJ couldn't DJ (forgot to turn the next song on and then it went quiet for 5 seconds and then just pressed play when she realised). It just seems to be run by 18yo students on minimum wage with 0 entertainment experience... Just really unprofessional and cringy.
I've been to many entertainment complexes around the UK and this has to be the worst.

Not too over priced, quite and lovely shops. Does need a bit of cash in arcade spending on it. Lovely place to visit. Gorgeous fish and chips

This is one of the smallest parks ive been to but my kids still loved it. We were offered this park because our local park burned down. I honestly had little hope for our stay. My mind was changed instantly.
When we first arrived we had issues with both our caravans (door would not open and in the other caravan the cooker controls were broken). The staff had workers out to fix our problems right away!

Some key staff I would like to mention:

Charlotte. She was very good with singing many songs and in the downtime or in between show times she took the time to dance with my girls. I think her extra attention to making my girls visit extra was very nice!

Ash. I dont think this park could have found somone better to be the speaker for the events. He was always chipper and nice to everyone. I understand that has to be very hard with having so many kids acting like crackheads on payday but he managed to keep his cool and maintain a perfect environment for all kids involved. I also appreciate he took a little extra time to make my daughters 4th birthday very exciting! (If you are reading this Ash, thanks a ton dude!)

Josh. This guy was a very solid side kick for charlotte during singing. He complimented their act flawlessly. I appologize I dont have much more to say about him but I only saw him 3 times during our 1 week stay.

It looks all nice and welcoming on the surface.... ... but do not, under any circumstances, ever enter into a contract of any kind with this moneygrabbing organisation. Certainly never discuss buying one of their exhorbitantly priced "holiday homes" because, once they have you in their grip, they will not be happy until they have extracted every penny you own and you still won't own a holiday home at the end of it. This is an industry that desperately needs legislation and control; the company that now owns Withernsea Sands are the worst "sharks" in the business.

We come here camping a couple of times a year. Clean site. Good shop and laundrette. Club house does great meals. The entertainment team try hard to encourage everyone to participate without being too demanding.
Some maintenance is required. I.e the disabled shower opposite the camp club house. The locking handle doesn’t lock and apparently it’s been like this for 2 years!!!! Despite being regularly reported. I have found a way to lock it by lifting the handle and wrapping my bra strap around the handle and the bar at the side of the toilet then back to the handle. I will add a photo in due course.

Compared to other Park Dean resorts we have stayed at this is by far the worst. We've been here 3 nights out of our 10 so far and we have found a few issues. There is never anyone at reception to tell anyone about the issues and the guy who says he's always about the touring area has only been seen once aswell, and that was only to tell us after 2 nights that we'd parked our caravan wrong and we needed to move it.
So I'll start from the beginning, we arrived Wednesday afternoon, there were no signposts for reception (great when you're towing a caravan for the 1st time and unsure of where to pull up) so we headed for what looked like the entertainment complex and yes it was in there... We were told our pitch number and it was just round the corner from the main complex. There were 3 pitch numbers along a hedge, ours was at 1 end, 1 in the middle was empty and there was (what looked like a derelict caravan and awning) at the end. There were no markings except the paving slab with the pitch numbers on so we figured we go between our number and the next number along as that's what the end one looked like they'd done... Pitched up, saw no one about, that was that. Next day we used the showers/toilets, dear lord I'd never seen anything so disgusting, the damp and moldy smell, I know it's understandable for them not to be up to a luxury standard but christ, these were NOT clean. There are also only 4 toilets and 4 showers for a pitch of 30ish so atleast 60-100 people? Twice I've been there so far and the was only 1 toilet with toilet roll. 2 of the sanitary bins were also overflowing which I feel is very unhygienic. Apparently they are cleaned every hour but I cant imagine the bins would have filled in an hour... I tied to report to reception when we next passed but there was no one there. Fast forward to the next day (our second day on camp) we went out for the day and on our way home around 6 in the evening we received a phone call to say we needed to move our caravan immediately because we hadn't parked it right and there was someone arriving in the next hour for the pitch next to us. We explained we were nearly home but we had a sick child in the car and we were stopping to pick up fish and chips for tea. We had a little wait at the chip shop, the baby woke up hungry and crying, our eldest who has autism was now screaming and crying from his baby sister crying and then our other 2 one of which was sick also couldn't wait to get back and settled after our long day out. We get sorted with our tea and notice a caravan pull up beside us as I was going to head over to reception to explain we hadn't been told exactly how we had to park and it would be unreasonable to get us to move at nearly 7 in the evening with 4 young children that we were settling to bed soon. So I go out side and a touring guy was outside with the new neighbours, I explain the whole situation and the new neighbours say that it makes no difference to them, they are happy where we are and they had plenty of space (we wernt in their space). The park guy said if they are happy then it's fine, and I thanked them as it would save us a tremendous amount of trouble as it took us a few hours to set up being inexperienced and with the kids (and a crawling baby!). Thank god for that! 5 mins later there's a knock on the caravan, "I'm sorry but I've relayed it to my manager and you still have to move as it's policy, you have untill midday tomorrow". So all night I spend worrying about the morning ahead and the day out we promised the kids would be shortened. The next morning the new neighbours say, "you're not moving are you, we said we were fine with it and you didn't have to move". So the park are just being petty for the sake of a few feet... This guy who is "always around" we haven't seen him again since and now we have our jockey wheel inline with this slab the neighbours are hoping they don't have to move over as theirs isn't in line either.. Swimming pool and ent complex also very small for the amount of caravans here.. Poor holiday for our daughters birthday
