I had a very unpleasant experience at this shop today. I asked for a refund on an item I purchased a few days ago, however, when requesting this, the female shop assistant was extremely rude. The shop assistant who served me a few days ago failed to mention that they don’t do refunds so when I explained this, the shop assistance told me that I should have checked the government website to find out their refund policy which is absolutely ridiculous.

To make matters worse, while I was trying to explain why this was unreasonable, she completely ignored me and served two other people instead which is very disrespectful and unprofessional.

This used to be my aunties favourite shop in Totnes, but after this experience, we won’t be coming back again. The customer service here is absolutely terrible and if I could leave a 0 star review I would. Avoid this place if you expect even a basic level of respect and service.

BUYERS BEWEAR WILL NOT GIVE REFUND STEALS YOUR MONEY. I went there and bought an expensive item and my husband returned the item in its original condition for a refund to be told I could not have one and that I could only have a gift card. The servant told my husband that lots if this item had been returned due to poor fit. I have never been told when purchasing items from this shop that refunds are not given and that this is their policy also there is nothing on their website stating this in fact the website is unfinished. Tried to contact the owner but have been ignored very poor customer service.

Ok, so this shop is quite small but is packed with absolute treasures, most of which I found to be very reasonably priced. Bought firefly trousers and smock for a total of £40. They stock some amazing hats, gloves, scarves and bags an altogether amazing little shop and it was service with a smile by a young lady clearly run off her feet as it is 2 days before Christmas. Altogether a great experience and I will definitely go again to purchase more goodies.
