We visited for the first time. Went for Sunday lunch. Food was really nice, good roast dinners and delicious deserts.

My partner and I visited The Cross Keys pub on a Saturday evening , we had a meal and the food/drinks and the service was amazing. The pub had a lovely welcoming atmosphere and an added bonus was there was live music on. We will definitely be returning back soon.

Just had a drink and some crisps when we visited on a Monday lunchtime. Very taken with the place and we plan to come back and try the food. Friendly knowledgeable owner who manages to offer 4 local real beers by using small casks (pins) so they get used up within 3 -4 days.

Both the beers I tried, from Colchester Brewery and from Brentwood Brewery, were fresh and clean tasting so her system works well.

We came here on a Thursday evening. The bar lady was so friendly and attentive. The food was really good too. Proper nice pub food and good portions at a good price.

Best roast out in a long time! Tender meat and a good selection of not overcooked veg, all piping hot! Would defo go back. Friendly staff and atmosphere - bit of easy listening back ground music as a suggestion is all I can think. Thank you all!
